sorry for rating without commenting at first, i felt like i had to compile the game from source and let it chill on the apple tree in my garden. easily one of the most technically impressive games i've seen around here, you did an amazing job!

ow, yeah, the options button is loud indeed! fun little game with a funny story and lovely art, and the sound effects add to the seriousness of the game. as a fast reader, i wish there was an option to speed up the text (i assume it was planned for the options menu?), but everything else flows nicely, well done!
fun game! it has that late 80s home console game vibe, i love it. the graphics, sounds and music are all great (though the music seems to stop instead of looping?). unfortunately, the gravity calculations seem to be tied to the refresh rate of the screen, so i couldn't jump high enough until i reduced the refresh rate from 180hz to 60hz, but aside from that, everything worked properly. well done!
that was fun! the sound effects, the art, the story and the funny dialogue (and how it says "card declined" in the shop) are all awesome, takes a while to get used to swinging the meteor hammer but it works very well after a warmup. sadly, the linux build doesn't work because it's missing the data folder, but the windows version is playable using wine at least so that's fine. also, there seems to be a bug where no enemies spawn after a reset?
kinda reminds me of sonic adventure 2's first level, what a throwback! the world is quite large and i like the fact there are checkpoints and you don't have to start over from the beginning every time you mess up. one little bug i noticed is that you can get stuck inside walls (happens on rooftops mostly), seems to work well otherwise, very fun!
this has got to be the greatest "rags to riches" simulator ever! you start with a humble entry-level fidget spinner which generates $1 per spin, and through sheer diligence and willpower, you transcend the class boundary to become the richest person in the universe!
if it doesn't work on linux, you might be having issues with sandboxing, in which case you need to launch the game executable like so:
'./Fidget Spinner Clicker' --no-sandbox
what an amazing little game! the visuals are really charming, the music is phenomenal and the overall atmosphere is perfect. there are some diabolical spots where it's very easy to roll over, and it's a bit tough to control the car at first until you get used to it, but it's probably a skill issue more than anything lol, i haven't played hill climb racing since forever
fun little game! really unfortunate that you ran out of time. by the way, if you end up remaking the game, i suggest you round the displayed health (assuming you don't do a health bar) instead of just printing it directly, as it can get really funky sometimes, and add some audio. otherwise, good job!
fun game! really has quite a bit of potential, and might even work exceptionally well as a multiplayer game.
regarding performance issues, i ran the game with the mangohud overlay on linux and here's what it looks like (i have a radeon 7900 xtx). it runs very smoothly but the gpu load is a bit higher on average than what i get when i play minecraft with sildur's vibrant shaders extreme with volumetric lighting, so i assume it might indeed be a graphics-related issue? i also tried it on my steam deck oled and it really sweats, the cpu load is relatively benign but the gpu load hovers around 94-99% and i get around 48-54 fps most of the time, though sometimes it drops to around 13-20 fps momentarily
that was a lot of fun! exploring different endings was quite a fun little journey, and the skip and quicksave mechanisms make replaying the game all over again much more bearable. the atmosphere is lovely, art and music are spot on, the first death stare moment caught me off guard, i'm only a bit disappointed because i was expecting baby shape simulator 2026 but oh well
fun and creative game! you can get stuck in walls easily which is kinda annoying, but the reset button makes it easy to reset quickly without punishment so that's fine. also a bit annoying that it was an installer instead of an .exe and that there's no native linux support as declared, but it runs well using wine so that's great
