Hello

1. No particular reason. It’s just a homage to the original Super Game Boy border.

2. Great idea. I will note it for a potential future update.

Thanks for the feedback :-)

Hello Nic

Sorry for the late reply. I think the original GBVM example does a better job of explaining how it works in general. You can find it here. The main problem is that exchanging data via the Link Cable is not difficult per se. The difficult part is integrating it into your gameplay, like deciding which information is crucial at what moment, accounting for timeouts and disconnects and for data corruption. My old example didn’t do any of that. It was just a different take on the original GBVM example. However, I do plan to publish a better example in the future.

Hi, I'm still working on it. But I'm waiting for the release of GB Studio 4.2, so it's on hold for the moment. I've also been busy with my life and started a new job. But it will happen eventually.

BGB supports multiple controllers. You need to enable "Super Gameboy" under System and configure "Joypad 0" and "Joypad 1" under Joypad. :-)

I've been asked about this a lot since my first tech demo. I do plan to publish a sample project showing how to do it :-)

RED is intended to be a real challenge even for those who already know Blobby Volley. For this reason, I plan to port RED to Blobby Volley 2 in the near future :-)
