one other idea for the sake of progression I came up with a while ago was the wave washing up a bottle of some kind of potion that allowed you to 'level up'. It made the game harder and easier at the same time. Though critiquing my idea I could have made the good side of leveling up through washed up items that could help with progression. Dang maybe I should finish this project 😅

If I could have completed it I would have made a rain world like game where you had to farm for food and then hide away before the giant wave comes and consumes and destroys everything about land. My favourite feature is the screen shaking when you get consumed by the wave :O

Loved the game, especially watching all the little car things mindlessly chase the file thingys, but I fail to see how it relates to the theme. If you want you can explain but idk how this is a natural disaster

edit: I read the description, now this game actually makes sense. A little loose though, it isn't immediately obvious how it relates to the theme, still love the game tho :D

This could be that I played it on a trackpad, but it was hard to move the tornado. Was a pretty cool game though, enjoyed it :D

I thought that the game closed when you tried to get through the left window but I just realised it was actually because I had held down ctrl and w which closes the tab 😭

Love the game! The only issue I found was in some sections it was hard to see the floor, but other than that, it was a brilliant game :D

Dang you too 😅 I REALLY need to have a bit more focus on making things look as cool as it is to play next time. I 100% agree with your stamina disk comment. I wish I had more time to test because it was very last minute I made the game actually functional (aka: added the disk types, menus, etc.)

Thanks for the feedback. I think making actually good looking visuals is my weakness with game jams because I just don't really think about it. I'll definitely make sure to spend more time on the visual side of things next jam.

Also a streak of 6 is not bad. After the jam was over I played a few rounds and worked out that the stamina disk can beat almost every other disk, coming even to its self only, which makes 6 a pretty good score considering the stamina disk should be chosen by the enemy every 4 rounds roughly (it's random)!

I could have added some actual assets to the game and not used the default shapes and that would have done the trick. Maybe for next time :P

HOW TO PLAY:

1. Press start in the main menu.

2. You will be brought to the spinning disk selection screen. Select your powerful spinning disk and press start.

3. Once your in the game, press either left arrow (to spin your disk clockwise) or right arrow (to spin your disk anti-clockwise).

4. The game has begun, watch to see who wins!

5. The winner of the game will be displayed in the center of the screen, press back to be taken back to the spinning disk selection screen.

6. Have fun! Make sure to send a screenshot of your highest win streak!

You guys' days going fine?

Sorry about that, my game uses python and auto-py-to-exe(variation of pyinstaller) to create the exe. It 'compiles' python scripts in a suspicious way that most antiviruses find almost instantly after the file is on your pc. I had similar struggles just uploading the file.

If you want a way to play it the best way is to make an exception for that file on your antivirus, usually can be done to files in quarantine.

If you can't be bothered, that's ok too!  It's a bit of work considering antiviruses these days. What antivirus do you use?
