Lmao 😂
Had a great experience with the game
This game has pretty good minigames. Finished the Alien one and loved the horror atmosphere of it.
My thoughts:
1.) Sometimes, when I enter the PC, the player would face below or beside the PC, making me unable to see the entire screen.
2.) I basically did not know what's my goal until I read your answer on 'What theme and how have you integrated the theme in your game?' on this page. I thought I have to avoid corrupted games, like the Prisoner glitching out the map.
Anyways. good well-crafted games.
Not bad. The atmosphere, art and music go really well together for a horror game. Loved the creepiness of the entire game. This gets a 5 on Horror for me. Good job!
That aside, I just wanna say: Sometimes the mouse input is hard to control, sometimes accidentally making me face the wrong direction
That is all. Thanks for the game!
Super awesome! It's a restaurant where you have to battle to get ingredients. So cool! I absolutely loved it.
It reminds me of Zombie Catchers where you catch zombies to turn them into shakes, but your game is even better cause there is more interactivity after catching a zombie and a challenge to get the right organs as ingredients. Good job!
Really fun once you know how to play. Each enemy has its challenges, with the bats being themost annoying ones.
Here are my thoughts:
1.) The controls are weird. Would be nice to have more options like WASD as a control but I guess using Arrow Keys and X has its challenges.
2.) It should be made clear that you have to clear all enemies to open the door.
3.) Putting a 'D' button next to the save without any indication that it means 'Delete' and doesn't warn you after you press it is ... yeah. That should be fixed.
4.) The boss didn't look like it had taken damage and I got hit even when his fists are already going towards him.
5.) The boss' music going together with the death music once you die doesn't sound very good. I think only one of them should play when you die.
Overall, it could be a good platformer if this is polished. Loved the enemy types. Thanks for the game!
Yeah, I just thought of adding a 'How to Play' at the description and just let the players read the manual and see what's wrong. I'll probably make a 'How to Play' in-game soon.
Yes, I worked hard on the minigames and made them work because even tho it's not really needed to progress, it kinda ruins immersion if the minigames won't even work (considering this is a game about looking for corruptions)
Thanks for playing!
You have to read the manual and observe whether the game follows the manual or not. If it follows the manual, it's safe. Once you insert a token on all safe cabinets that follow the manual, the door opens to the next room. (You can read the 'How to Play' in the description)
The games that are safe and are corrupted are different every time so you really have to observe.
Also, ye, the delay of inserting tokens is a known bug from playtesters, will check the code and fix it soon. For now, just keep clicking 'T'
Thank you so much for playing
Looks really cool! It's like those old retro games.
My thoughts: I couldn't finish yet because it's quite long, which is also amazing how you could make a really long game in a 1 week game jam. So cool! It's like those old retro games so it has a simple gameplay. Also, I wonder why the old man after the first dungeon did damage to me. I was expecting more fighting in the game cause like most of the gameplay is just exploring. Overall, I like the atmosphere and the music and the art but not much on the gameplay. Thank you for the experience!
The web build is playable but had no sound and the 'Play Again' cannot be clicked so I tried downloading it. I played it but after I died, since it swallows the mouse cursor, I had to force close the game with a keyboard shortcut to get out.
Kinda unplayable on my end sadly. Would have been nice to play cause the audio sounds cool.
It was very fun. Each level is a challenge.
My opinion: The controls are weird, like why put 'Enter' as a control for WASD and Space? Also, needs music. Also, I don't see how the theme is incorporated in the game, as the term for the 'Enter' key is changing 'visibility' states and not 'corruption' states.
But still, I had a blast playing it. So good!
The art looks good. The game feels simple.
My opinion:
1.) Just realized you can hold the Up or W button way later to climb as I just kept pressing it like Flappy Bird before. That should be made clear.
2.) I was kinda saddened at the fact that I climbed way up already then the dragon hit me once and now I'm back at the start. Now it became repetitive. Would be nice to get like a reward for getting far but got hit by the dragon (but that's just me)
That's just my opinion. It was an experience, pretty good one at that. Good game.
The game's atmosphere, lighting and cutscenes makes it look good. Exploring the theatre was really fun.
My opinion:
1.) Would have been better if there were sounds being used reflecting to what the narrator was saying (like the narrator said someone was crying but I didn't hear anything). Also, the game loop is: get the film, run towards the booth, spam spacebar then watch the film, which was good that the film was different every time but the gameplay was repetitive and I was kinda hoping for a jumpscare or something similar (the first time the film was playing, I didn't think of the idea of watching the film until I saw a window)
That's just my opinion. And yeah, it was a cinematic experience.
