I cannot thank you enough for doing the work to modernize Knytt Stories. I don't know what made me want to replay the old Nifflas games recently, but I was able to get Knytt running in wine without any issues, but for some reason no matter how I tried to get KS to run on Linux it would always say the data folder was missing and refuse to run. Your port of it popped up when I was trying to find if anyone had the same issue.
I remember reading the TIGsource post about KS when it came out, and it was one of my favorite games as a child. Probably one of the only games I have any sense of nostalgia for.
Also your updates and improvements are great, I never thought I would be playing KS with a controller, let alone being able to remap the controls!
