Alot of these things can be blamed on having 5 days and being alone. Theres no playtesters I had, and with my spaghetti code, me testing the ending scene before changing some unrelated things  didnt suffice.

I dont think I will work on the game further as I dont think theres demand for it. If I were to, I would seriously reconsider the balancing of the game.

The idea was too good to pass up for me, I hope I did it justice.

You cannot play the game in fullscreen unfortunately :/

I really liked this entry for its unique mechanics!

I know I'm not a part of this conversation, but could you please specify which creators?

Also: others' crappy behaviour doesnt justify your own crappy behaviour.

Amazing artwork, my goodness did the artists go hard on this game.

I found it a good way to dip my toes in the water that is these types of games, as I don't usually play them. I liked the experience, well done for something made in 5 days.
Also, maybe make defensive dice more useful, I found myself only using offensive dice.

You have a point on the art thing though, these characters are very pretty.

Simple game with a sharp artstyle.
Fun to play for a few minutes!

Thanks for trying my entry!
All the upgrades are exponential, getting alot of the same upgrade will make that particular stat very high/low.
The rocks aren't randomly generated, I just placed them there manually. In hindsight, generating them procedurally would have been both easier, faster and better in terms of placement.

Awesome game! The only thing I could really ask for is more polish, but you can't really do that very well in a game jam. Great job for such a limited amount of time!

Tysm for trying the game either way!

This game is essentially just roleplaying being a dating app, I liked it!
The little ghosts are very adorable :3
They're all so unique aswell, I love it!

Tyvm!
Now that I think about it, some sort of difficulty slider would not have been very difficult to implement. Something for next time.

Continuously turning yourself into cooked chicken is certainly a way to get into a relationship. It did work out in the end though, so what can I really say?
I liked it :3
What an adorable little birb.

The UI thing you mentioned is because I was lazy.
I already made all the items and only after decided they were too small, so not wanting to change the size of every single item, I just scaled and positioned the VBoxContainer node that holds all of the scenes. That doesn't work very well if you play a different resolution.
To make it even worse, I used an AnimationPlayer to smoothly interpolate between a negative and positive x axis scale, so I would have to change every keyframe. I designed the game around 1152x648 and did not have time to refactor that entire system.
Thanks for the feedback!

Cute lizard had me sold right away.
The level design was really good, and the tutorial explained everything very well.
An awesome little puzzle game.

Thanks!
You're clearly not the only one afraid of that thing judging by the other comments.
I should've included the red eyes in the cover image in the actual game. Surely that would help!

A really cool game! I didn't expect to see a potion brewing game with this theme, suprisingly well done.
I am not built for these stressful games, I did not get a whole lot of gold in the end, but I enjoyed it either way.

Honestly amazing idea, very creative. The moment to moment gameplay itself felt really smooth and satisfying, a great job on polishing! Awesome experience, would do again.

What an amazing game this is. For being made in 5 days, there is alot to it. Best entry to the jam I've played so far.
I couldn't find any gamebreaking bugs, only small UI things. The amount of demons can feel a bit overwhelming sometimes, you don't get much breathing room between demons.

You get a way to beat the game by either dying/winning in enough runs, the default is ~24, based on the playtime slider on the main menu, with a bit of randomization. The easiest way is to just die a bunch until you get a special card.
For next game jam I will definitely ask some friends to playtest the game.

Really cool little game! This was awesome to play.

That's fixed now! Thanks for the heads up.

A very cool, unique take on the whole platforming thing. I had a great time playing this game!

I had a great time! Awesome little puzzle/platformer.
This game would really benefit from coyote time, I feel like that would improve the gameplay alot.
Also, damn is this game difficult. I see that as a me problem though.

You have to wait a moment, it took a few minutes for me aswell.

Great little game to play for ~5m, it felt monotonous though.
I do understand that adding content is hard if you get 5 days to do it.
Quite good for a solo dev.

An interesting style I haven't really seen before. Also, why is Grimmly so adorable? I had a great time playing this game.

It is possible to get to the cave without going counter clockwise around the mountain (which is probably what you did)
There is a scale hidden behind a rock, you need to get that to be able to get to the cave the "intentional" way, since it allows you to jump slightly higher.
I do want to do more with double jump/dash because it could make a decent game, I like being able to fly around, I might do something with that (pretty rushed and crappy) code.
Thank you for the feedback!

Why do people like a platformer where you can barely see where you're going lolll.
(no but thank you)

This game is great!
There's not really much to critique here other than the balancing, you can get trough most the game (If day 30 is the end) with just bone scepters, other than that, well polished, I like the art alot, and quite unique, haven't seen alot of these games.
The stock size was quite limiting since the meta is bone scepters and you tend to have alot of weapons, so no space for other items. Was this intentional? If so, pretty creative way to do it.
I enjoyed playing the game, well done!

Nugget needs to go on a diet

The game has quite a few bugs (e.g. climbing trough rocks, audio not playing at the right time, sliding off rocks, etc.)

I'm assuming you know about most these things but didn't have time or knowledge to fix them?

No music is sort of unsettling.

I did like the landmine tho, that was a great idea.

Overall buggy game but ok to play.

Theres  not much to critique here, everything is well done!

Oooh I'm excited!
If there is a full release, where will you post it?

Yes, now featuring "lava"
Nugget has eaten a bit too much.
And music, I couldn't find any good sources in time, and I can't make it myself.

Hehe, had some difficulties with textures as you can see in the credits
Also please tell me you fell for the fake death screen, please, that took way too much time.
I myself noticed it was hard to see geometry without textures especially with HTML graphics, but this is the first game ive finished so I didn't really know what I was doing xD
