Thank you!

I bought and played throught the entire game today. If this is your first game, then I'm very impressed! There are a lot of small details that I really liked about it, such as:

- The main menu having multiple animated scenes from the game in the background, setting the tone of the game

- Characters interacting with the environment, such as walking/driving around in the background, picking up or using objects. For example, there was one scene where I would be given a lighted candle. Instead of an NPC just standing around and "magically" giving me the item, the NPC instead would take the candle from me, pull a lighter from her pocket and light the candle in her hand.

- The checkpoint system really was a godsend. There were some parts in the game that were rather hard (for example sneaking around in the woods with the wolves), but due to very generous checkpoints, it never became too frustrating to try again.

- I liked how the game would sometimes try to nudge the player towards the correct path by having the player get killed/ambushed in certain spots, thus "walling off" certain parts of the map etc... I think it really helped move the pace of the game along nicely (instead of letting the player wander around the entire map aimlessly without any kind of interference)

- I really liked how in one of the later chapters, the game gave me a choice to basically "quit the game" or to keep playing. At first I thought the second option would give me maybe a brief cutscene or a few more minutes of gameplay. Instead, the game continued with a lot more chapters, which helped flesh out the story etc...

- The news reports on one of the TVs and after the credits looked really good

Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much!
I'll try to have a look at your game, too!

That's good to hear! :-)

Thank you! Much success to you and your channel! :-)

Thanks!

No problem! :-)

Hi! I really got inspired by two NES games: "Dr. Chaos" and "8 Eyes". I didn't create an own color palette and just picked the colors as I saw fit. :-)

Thank you! :-D

Yes, they're nice and crispy! :-D

Thank you! :-)

Thank you for the reply, MadShmupper! Glad you enjoyed my game. Please, feel free to add my game to PortMaster. You have my permission :-)

Glad you enjoyed the game! :D

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad that you enjoyed it :-)

No, it's just a bunch of random numbers/letters :-)

It might be ... ;-)

Thank you very much! Always good to hear that people enjoy my games! :-)

Thank you very much! :-)

Thank you! Regarding the puzzle in the second level: The pictures of the fruits will give you the numbers, the aparatus with the 4 white squares will give you the position of those numbers and the 4 people of various ages will give you the order. I hope that helps :-)

Thank you very much! :-D

thank you! :-)

Thank you! It's really great to see people care about the weird stuff that I put out :-)
If you haven't already, you can also follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram (although not currently very active, I'll try to post something on there whenever there are news things to show about my projects etc...)

Thank you! Glad that you enjoyed it. The mouse cursor being buggy sometimes is an issue that others have experienced, too. ;_; Maybe after my next big project I'll have a thorough look at the problem.

Those cats will be always watching, yet never reaching. ;_;

Thank you! :-)

A little hint: There's one good ending and three bad ones (two deaths + the one where he's begging for money at the subway). I even believe there's a video on youtube (on the main itch.io channel) with all the endings, should you be curious.

*applause*

Exactly! :-)

Glad you two enjoyed it! :-)

Thank you and yes, the dos version of "King of Chicago" was a huge part of what inspired me to create such a game (there's also the "original" King of Chicago version with the clay figures, which looks interesting in it's own way :-) ).

Thank you! You can look forward to more weird and experimental games. :-)

Thanks and great video! :-)

Thank you! :-)

Thank you very much! :-)

Thank you! :-D

Thank you very much! :-)
