Updated the game with hold to move and fixed that bug so there is a proper "death" state along with other tweaks.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I just updated the game with hold to move and making it so every level has a demon and you only gain strength when you die if you don't absorb a demon.

I just released a new version with hold to move

I'm glad you like it :) I just released a post jam version. Nothing major just some balancing changes and hold to move.

Hello, I made a retro roguelike if you wanna give it a go. https://sulsadood.itch.io/prison-demon

Hey, made a little retro roguelike if your interested. https://sulsadood.itch.io/prison-demon

Hey man, fancy a retro roguelike? https://sulsadood.itch.io/prison-demon

Hia! Looking to get more feedback. https://sulsadood.itch.io/prison-demon

This is beautiful. I'm definitely coming back to this game.

Nice short game.

I like how you have to escape the ghost after getting the grave.

Very spooky. Had a hard time knowing which potion I should use sometimes, but besides that very nice!

Really liked the investigation and how it tied into the revival minigame.

Fun game. I ended up just spamming right click. I think adding dashing throw enemies would be good. Maybe you could have that replace the basic attack.

I like the game visuals. The way the flashlight moves around is somewhat unwieldy. I think I accidentally activated the first checkpoint again, which meant I had to start over.

I really enjoyed this, but sadly I eventually got stuck in a terminal view without being able to exit.

Creative idea. I like the art and how happy the king looks. I think adding something like a laser that completely destroys peasants would be good.

Nice little game.

Now that's jammin.

I like the idea. Survived 7 days. I found that sacrificing food eventually makes it so you cant sacrifice anything making you lose the game. Sacrificing the citizens seemed to work more consistently, which is how I got to day 7.

Good ole tower defense game. Some suggestions: make tower level text visible from behind other towers, make individual upgrades have their own cost and level, add a way to control what enemies each tower targets, add mouse driven menus for upgrading, selling, etc.

Fun game. I like the way brewing works although it took me a while to realize I can add more then 3 ingredients.

Interesting idea having a platformer with limited moves. The game is quite hard as how high you jump isn't consistent. Also, you can jump so high you can't see where your going to land until the last second.

Good writing, very immersive.

Interesting premise. I recommend making it so you can skip through dialog.

game won't run

This game is beautiful. Moving is stiff and slow, but besides that I just want more.

can't access the game

Fun premise and very good use of the theme.

This is very creative and also mildly terrifying.

Yeah, I've been meaning to add floors, but I also kinda like how ominous it is when you can't seen any walls and all you see is black.

Very epic. When I got a crossbow at one point after killing a worm the bolt kinda got shoved to the right of my screen instead of being in the crossbow. I also got lucky and got a mace that one shot everything from the well XD. Also, the attack range feels deceptively short. Keep up the great work!

This game makes me go yes.
