First off, I love the colors. Starting off with the muted backgrounds as we are introduced to Yoyo for me was very tone setting. I think Yoyo is very lovable protagonist who is unaware fully of his gay feelings with I always enjoy and your writing doesnt lean into making him a complete doofus or in complete denial as Nathan starts acting weird, instead I really like how he felt like a kid trying to come into his own and find his place in the world, hopefully next to Nathan.

The voice acting was very fun and I liked that you got it for side characters too. Along with this is your sound effects which I feel worked well. Your music reminded me of waiting room music in a way, in a good way, due to the story progressing and the discomfort around Yoyo inadequate compared to his peers, and then leading to Nathan’s eye reveal and personality change, the bg music felt like it was leading me to this reveal.

Speaking of Nathan, I really liked him. From his witty banter with Yoyo and how he carries himself from being used to overly nice to eventually a psychotic break/inhuman cult vibes. This shift made was awesome and I loved how much he becomes a caricature of everything you set up in the first half. The way you amped up his established traits really made it feel authentic to his character while still unnerving.

The ending with the confession between Yoyo and Nathan was not only great tension, me wanting them to kiss, but also adds to how alarming it was, making me frustrated at the end because, well, it ended. And a small thing, I like that the screen changed too. Small details like that in vns I always enjoy

this is so well done
