Hey, first of all, I’m really glad you enjoyed the game, and thanks for the detailed feedback. Yeah, I know there are still a lot of unanswered things in the story. I actually plan to continue a lot of that in a sequel game called C.X Protocol, which takes place 24 years after the war.

A lot of the stuff you mentioned, like Ella, Kael, the MC’s sister, the marks, and other loose plot points, are things I want to explore more in that game. That’s the plan right now at least. 

It probably won’t release on Itch.io anymore, though. If you’re interested, you can join my Patreon and play it for free when it comes out.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the story.  And yeah, this is the final update for this game. But there will be a sequel. It’ll be set 20 years later and follow Junko’s route, with a new MC and mostly a new cast. Some of the old characters will still show up though. But it won’t be on itch.io anymore, so if you’re interested, make sure to follow me on Patreon or F95. I’ll post updates there, so you won’t miss it when the game comes out 👍
