Please feel free to message me if you encounter any issues. Chapter 1 was exceptionally buggy, and I’m still doing my best to unfuck everything.
You can find a new public version on my Patreon (it’s available for free - I just haven’t had the time to release it everywhere): https://www.patreon.com/SubjunctiveGames
A new beta version will be available today and tomorrow with a fresh ByteBunker job, but it will be available only to paying subscribers.
In general, I release public versions about once every two months and a new beta version once a week.
Thank you for your feedback! It’s my first project, and as such, I’m allowing myself to experiment a lot, even if it sometimes results in the game not having as strong a direction as it could have. There are also many parts I myself would have done differently now, but the time-consuming nature of solo hobby development doesn’t allow me to do so. The project would stall big time.
I do think about players like you when developing minigames and try to keep the challenge reasonable. I know the minigames are polarizing, which is why supporters have the option to skip them (or at least most of them - I need to expand the skip option to cover the newer ones). I have considered a skip option for regular players too, one that would appear after an X number of fails, and it’s something I will probably implement in the future. Right now, I want to focus as much as possible on story and content.
