The first voice line was a total jumpscare lol, I was not expecting that! I had fun with this though, it's the kind of game that'd stick with you as a kid, somewhere along the lines of Can Your Pet - kinda cute (or in this case, cute(?)) but also pretty fleshed out as a concept. Congratulations on your first proper game!
This was so fun! I always used to browse through cookbooks when I went to the local library as a kid, so this was pretty nostalgic. I can totally feel all the effort you put into this, really nice work! On the other hand, how dare you go and make me hungry...
(I wish having candles near books was more practical so my irl shelf could look like this lol!)
