Awesome! :D Best of luck!

That’s awesome! Excited to see how it turns out, and I generally only play games on stream, so likely I’ll stream it once its done if thats ok :)

So… :) I’m having this same issue now. Would you mind sharing your wisdom on how to implement this in RPGM MV?

Thanks for a great jam :) I didn’t get around to playing your game sadly but I did see other play it and it looked great. I’ll drop you a follow and perhaps we’ll see eachother in another jam :)

Haha XD Thanks. You should check out other titles in the Jamsepticeye jam. People did some crazy efforts :)

Thanks! It was made in 5 days for a game jam :) There will be lots of overhaul and a general expansion of the game.

In the web version atm the menu button is kinda bugged (esc minimises the full screen…). Just fyi. And I think, if you got endings 1 and 2 then the majority of the game is still… Hidden ;)

Awesome! :D Looking forward to trying it out again :)

Lovely! :) I was stuck on room 2. But I think it was due to my own brain being mash atm XD. Will try again!

Exciting! :) I only played it a little, and I was intrigued by these hidden stats. I don’t think I understood quite the consequence of them though. Perhaps it was just because I didn’t play enough? Just wondering if this mechanic will be expanded upon cause it was a cool idea :)

I truely enjoyed playing this game, and the art and music being made in a 5 day game jam is incredible.

I’ll be pining for future updates/releases :) There is a lot of potential in this gameplay.

This game is great, and was on the top of my list for the Jamsepticeye jam. Art, music and gameplay were all such an amazing effort. Looking forward to seeing further development! :)

Thanks a lot for playing the game :) And I totally understand. So many did a great effort to test and rate jam games, and theres a lot to choose from! I have so many I sadly did not get around to.

I can note for potential future plays that I will update the game post-jam to have running as part of the gameplay, to make it easier to do multiple runs and explore endings.

Haha XD Thanks a lot Oddacity! And thanks for showcasing it on your stream :) Was a joy to see you explore the hotel and you did some expert level detective work. I’ll be curious to see if you manage to get the super secret ending :) (Which is ending 8, and only one person got so far).

Let me know as well if you find the Monty Python reference XD I remembered last night where I put it so it’s definitely there.

Thanks a lot Val :D I’m glad you enjoyed it. When I get the chance to update a bit, I’ll add a sprint option to make it easier to replay and try to get multiple endings.

How dare you call my game silly! XD (Thanks for playing)

Short but fun game! :D Thanks for sharing. Love to see a game that implements speedrun strats. Here are my times: Level 1

Level 2

Feel free to check out Immortal Servitude : ) It’s my first game, and all assets including music was made on stream during the jam. See which one of the 8 endings you can get!

Thank you so much! :) Some ending are more obscure than others, but I think all should be feasible to get with more exploration.

After the jam I’ll likely update the game to have a sprint movement, which will make exploration a bit faster :)

That’s great! Then you might be encouraged to know - I played it on twitch, so I am writing this also on behalf of the chat who enjoyed the experience with me :)

No worries haha XD

Thank you for the very sweet comment! :) I’m glad you took the time to play through so much of the game. Really. I appreciate it a lot. There will indeed be an expansion of the game, that at least partially will be devved on stream :) Edit: Thank you for the quick reply XD

Holy cow… So many amazing games, and such a great community to have stumbled into :)

Thanks to everyone who joined in and shared their games on stream. I had such a blast. Sadly, I have to travel tomorrow and cannot showcase or play any more titles.

It’s also really heartwarming to read that people had fun playing Immortal Servitude, and it seems quite a few found most of the 8 endings (only one thus far found the super secret eigth one XD).

Best of luck with future development everyone. And feel free to share games with me outside of this event to if you want me to show it on future streams :)

P0tato out <3

Thanks a lot! And absolutely XD I played Monkey Island 1 a lot as a kid. Glad the inspiration shone through.

Thanks a lot! :) I’m sure a bit of exploration will piece by piece reveal what the deal is :) With only ending 2, most of the game you haven’t seen XD

Make sure you play with arrowkeys and space bar, as there is a bug where the mouse does not let you interact with many things… (Also, downloadable version plays best because ESC is menu button and minimises the game…).

Thanks a lot :) And happy to hear the silly monsters were appreciated XD I would love to play your game, but sadly I will be travelling the last day. If by chance I arrive early, I will try my best to play it, it looks great.

Another absolute banger. Love the style, and the puzzles are great fun. All the cool kids build teddy-stairways to find secret strats XD

Lovely Touhou like game, which was a fun throwback having played many of those titles as a kid :) Well done!

Absolute banger, and for and old potat as myself, it was such a throwback to see so many old PC references. The puzzles are well designed, and the way sounds are used for comedic effect when you revive is also a great touch.

Great game, and I really enjoyed the game loop of fighting and avoiding, building an army and surviving. Will be very interesting so see where this one goes :)

Great game, and a good puzzle mechanic. After many days of developing and playtesting games, my brain was mash, and I couldn’t figure out all puzzles, but I really enjoyed the ones I tried :)

I loved this since seeing the title. You got me laughing before even starting the game XD Turns out the game is also really fun, and I wasn’t expecting multiple minigames. Only complaint is that I would love to play more of it <3

This one took me by surprise a bit, as I expected a space exploration game and got an absurd existential journey. Great stuff. I totally enjoyed this :) (And also - I died… XD)

I really liked the artwork in this one, and the voice acting was good. Would have loved for it to be a bit longer :)

Absolute banger. High speed, tight combat, great fun. I died quite fast XD

I really enjoyed playing this one, and the visuals are great :) I hope you will continue making games in the future. (Especially love the aesthetics in the background that set a haunting ambience).

Great game, with stunning visuals and a really cool card builder mechanic. One of the games I will we waiting for a full version of. (Sad I couldn’t finish the WR speedrun… XD but I tried).

This is a super sweet and enjoyable game :) The visuals and character design is great, and I love the cute cats :D

I really enjoyed playing this! :) I cannot say too much without giving things away, but I highly reccomend it.

This game was such a great hidden gem! I truely enjoyed playing it, both due to the clever puzzles, the atmosphere (great lighting), and music.

This is such a hidden gem among submissions! I played this on stream, and we were taken aback by how great the storytelling and visuals were. It goes to show how important good writing is to create scenery in your mind. I feel like I experienced a carefully crafted world, and was moved repetedly by the characters. My only 2 comments are - You don’t need to start the game by apologising, it was a great experience and - I’m looking forward for more :) 5/5
