You can play this in VR with VorpX. Works pretty well (no motion controls obviously but everything is in nice 3d)

Still not working Steam VR (valve index)- no knuckle controllers show up.  Cant click/interact with title menu. Tried also using Vorpx, which works to enable the controllers, and it shows all the controls on my hands, but still cant interact with the "continue" or "new game" in the menu.
