The title screen art was amazing! I really like how the enemies wait to spawn till you get to a certain point in the tutorial. Great work!

Full disclosure - I spent my first 10 minutes of this game knowingly ignoring the spider and just swinging around like a lil frog Spider-Man. The movement is just so fun haha. Loved the voice acting and lines for the spider once I got there. Funny and fun game with a rather addicting movement system. In fact, imma jump back in just to swing around a bit more before trying out another game...
Cool game! I'll echo what synchro said below about a pop-up to notify player to examine the doors. I hadn't really thought to do that, so I spent all my time trying out each item at every door haha. I think the mechanic of being able to get folks to surrender with your gun pulled out, but having your gun slow you down is legit brilliant. It made entering every room stressful and punished me for moments where I was trying to rush. Great work!
Oh my gosh this is so amazing. All this done in a game jam is wild! Loved the art, the portraits of each member were so so good. The friendly fire is really what makes the main game play loop shine - it really becomes a puzzle game about who is in danger, who is safe to fight, and where can folks move without getting shot by friends. Seriously, just absolutely amazing game - great job!
Fun! I really like the concept and I think the short time frame to capture the startdust creates a fun/frantic scramble. I did have a lil bug where one of my stagecoaches became unresponsive (and thus my four lil guys in that stagecoach were out of commission), but I still had a good time. The lil blurbs they each say when you click/assign them is such good polish. Overall, good work!
Woah, this game is so freakin cool! First off - art direction and ui are both so clean and good. Second - the inventory mechanic is kinda brilliant. I really really like how ships scan a portion of your ship for stolen cargo. That makes you play a bit of a juggling game between wanting to fill up your cargo as much as possible, but restraining yourself to save room to move stuff around in case you get scanned. I'm super impressed!
A great start to a game! Once I figured out I could enter in the castle through the back I enjoyed the immediate rush of having to avoid the guards. I was never quite able to figure out how to solve the "codes" and figured the inventory was a work in progress. Would love to see where this game could go given some time outside of the game jam, good work!
Being able to fire my cannons from both sides of my ship made me feel like the king of the pirates - and that was before I got to upgrading my cannons haha! Super fun game. I think updating the cannons to have more "oomph" via sound design and animation would be nice. I really like the way the ship controls and having to dock at a port to repair and upgrade just felt right. Super fun game!
I loved the duality of the calming area below where you gathered clams and the intense battle up above. The sound design was just so good! Once I had a small army of clams I'd spend time gathering pearls just for the satisfaction of all the sounds haha. Amazing you were able to implement so many mechanics in just a week, bravo!
Oh my goodness the art is so good. I am always in awe of folks who can create something so visually awesome by using a limited color pallet. The player being a sort of void-like figure was also neat. Movement felt good, but some visual of my bullets flying through the air would've been cool for the gamefeel. All in all a very cool in beautiful looking game, I had a fun time!
Love the relaxing vibes - particularly since I have a lil La vie en Rose music box in my office so hearing it on the title screen made me happy. It did take me a bit to understand what all I was doing with combining cards, but once I figured it out it became a great card game to relax to (while having enough going on to keep me from mindlessly playing, which I very much appreciate!).
First, the knock on the door from the starting screen legitimately scared me haha. Second, when the game was over I realized I was sad because I honestly could just kept playing the same gameplay loop for hours. Y'all did amazing! The art was incredible and the dopamine rush of flying back to see a mountain of candy is unmatched.
Knew I was in for a great time when I saw I could yee haw for no other reason then to express my joy haha. Overall the game is great and I really really liked the slide mechanic. Needing a bit of momentum to complete the slide under cacti added so much depth. Especially when you're juggling that with a shootout. Amazing work!
