The title screen art was amazing! I really like how the enemies wait to spawn till you get to a certain point in the tutorial. Great work!

Fun little experience! I agree with folks that I would've loved some other cue to shoot - sounds or some sort sprite to keep me form just staring at a bit of text the whole time. The art was great and it is amazing to get a working game done in a day!

Nice! I liked the mechanic of having to build up speed to make higher jumps. I also like that the player's movement was a bit slide-y, made the platforming of it all more challenging. Good game!

Great submission for a first game jam! Creating multiple different enemy ai patterns was neat (this is my first jam too and I was way too stressed about time to attempt enemy ai lol, great work!).  Excited to see what you submit to future jams!

Agree with folks saying that some indicator of where I was digging would've been helpful. I do like a 3D game with 2D sprites and the digging itself was fun.

Full disclosure - I spent my first 10 minutes of this game knowingly ignoring the spider and just swinging around like a lil frog Spider-Man. The movement is just so fun haha. Loved the voice acting and lines for the spider once I got there. Funny and fun game with a rather addicting movement system. In fact, imma jump back in just to swing around a bit more before trying out another game...

Fun game! I liked the mix on the theme.

Ahhhhh!!!!! I loved this one so much - I'd be delighted if y'all were ever able to add more levels. The lawmen were horrifying both in design and in their mechanics which is always wonderful to see. Seriously, amazing work!

This was so fun and unique! I really enjoyed seeing the final Result screen showing how I slowly honed in on the suspect over each iteration of the poster (though jump from my horrible sketch to the sticker phase was the only thing that gave me a chance haha). Amazing!

Fun game! I liked all the different enemy types - made it particularly stressful to enter a room with so many different attacks you had to consider.

This is so well done! Everything is so solid from the main gameplay loop to the art to the character/enemy abilities. I would have no clue this one was made in 9 days if I wasn't a part of this jam, which is incredible of y'all!

Thank you! My lesson learned for this game jam is that you can't leave level design till the last day haha. I had plans for multiple levels, but my (poor) time management turned them into just dreams lol.

So fun! Everything just felt so good. Like shooting felt good, my speed running felt good, dashing (especially with the lil rolling animation) felt good. Picking up and assigning items for powerups was great. I had a blast with your game!

The cargo weight mechanic is very cool. I did exactly what Karmarkel did - got greedy and got stuck haha. I think having to revisit your "base" to drop of cargo in batches (and to refill your O2) was neat as well. Some sounds would add a lot to the loop, but overall very fun and original game!

Cool game! I'll echo what synchro said below about a pop-up to notify player to examine the doors. I hadn't really thought to do that, so I spent all my time trying out each item at every door haha. I think the mechanic of being able to get folks to surrender with your gun pulled out, but having your gun slow you down is legit brilliant. It made entering every room stressful and punished me for moments where I was trying to rush. Great work!

Also, the opening scene of everybody standing over the sheriff's wife with one guy very unhelpfully saying "oops" killed me haha. I actually laughed out loud - dialogue and story was really good for this game too!

Oh my gosh this is so amazing. All this done in a game jam is wild! Loved the art, the portraits of each member were so so good. The friendly fire is really what makes the main game play loop shine - it really becomes a puzzle game about who is in danger, who is safe to fight, and where can folks move without getting shot by friends. Seriously, just absolutely amazing game - great job!

Fun! I really like the concept and I think the short time frame to capture the startdust creates a fun/frantic scramble. I did have a lil bug where one of my stagecoaches became unresponsive (and thus my four lil guys in that stagecoach were out of commission), but I still had a good time. The lil blurbs they each say when you click/assign them is such good polish. Overall, good work!

Woah, this game is so freakin cool! First off - art direction and ui are both so clean and good. Second - the inventory mechanic is kinda brilliant. I really really like how ships scan a portion of your ship for stolen cargo. That makes you play a bit of a juggling game between wanting to fill up your cargo as much as possible, but restraining yourself to save room to move stuff around in case you get scanned. I'm super impressed!

A great start to a game! Once I figured out I could enter in the castle through the back I enjoyed the immediate rush of having to avoid the guards. I was never quite able to figure out how to solve the "codes" and figured the inventory was a work in progress. Would love to see where this game could go given some time outside of the game jam, good work!

Being able to fire my cannons from both sides of my ship made me feel like the king of the pirates - and that was before I got to upgrading my cannons haha! Super fun game. I think updating the cannons to have more "oomph" via sound design and animation would be nice. I really like the way the ship controls and having to dock at a port to repair and upgrade just felt right. Super fun game!

Really enjoyed the level up system! The power progression just felt good. I also like the variety in bounty types and enemy types. Amazing work!

I loved the duality of the calming area below where you gathered clams and the intense battle up above. The sound design was just so good! Once I had a small army of clams I'd spend time gathering pearls just for the satisfaction of all the sounds haha. Amazing you were able to implement so many mechanics in just a week, bravo!

Oh my goodness the art is so good. I am always in awe of folks who can create something so visually awesome by using a limited color pallet. The player being a sort of void-like figure was also neat. Movement felt good, but some visual of my bullets flying through the air would've been cool for the gamefeel. All in all a very cool in beautiful looking game, I had a fun time!

I had alot of fun with this one! A high stakes Where's Waldo kinda situation is, as it turns out, very fun. I locked in for a while which is always a sign that I am having a great time, so great work on the game!

Love the relaxing vibes - particularly since I have a lil La vie en Rose music box in my office so hearing it on the title screen made me happy. It did take me a bit to understand what all I was doing with combining cards, but once I figured it out it became a great card game to relax to (while having enough going on to keep me from mindlessly playing, which I very much appreciate!).

Hand gun made me laugh and I really liked how the zombies floated away like lil cardboard cutouts. Would definitely love to play with some audio added - overall a fun start!

I am always a sucker for Tron vibes - so big fan of your game's aesthetic! I do wish there was a bit more feedback to hitting the boss (and to the player getting hit), but I think this game is fun and I dig the retro Tron vibes!

Lol the concept alone is great. Really enjoyed how the rolls damage the enemies and distract them. I also think the player's speed was really well balanced to deal with the horde. Good game!

Good point, thanks for the feedback! I was so excited to make a custom mouse icon that I forgot you do need to see the mouse...

First, the knock on the door from the starting screen legitimately scared me haha. Second, when the game was over I realized I was sad because I honestly could just kept playing the same gameplay loop for hours. Y'all did amazing! The art was incredible and the dopamine rush of flying back to see a mountain of candy is unmatched.

Knew I was in for a great time when I saw I could yee haw for no other reason then to express my joy haha. Overall the game is great and I really really liked the slide mechanic. Needing a bit of momentum to complete the slide under cacti added so much depth. Especially when you're juggling that with a shootout. Amazing work!

The trippy scifi theme was so well executed! Something about seeing brains is both horror inducing and fascinating at the same time. The weapon combination system was super cool and I thought the puzzles that stemmed from it were great. Overall wonderful and delightfully unique game!!!

I love a game with a story!!! The rain animation/art was really good and the novelty of the lil guys peeping out of their hiding spots was a treat - fun game!

Typing games are so fun. I think the art and sound design was really good and matched the theme perfectly.

The art was delightful - specifically I loved the Phantom. It was horrifying and somehow super colorful even with the limited palette you used which I thought was wicked cool. Great game!

As someone with three cats who are all criminals in their own way, I very much liked the concept of this game. The cat pixel art was all very cute and all the crimes made me laugh. Clues were a bit hard to spot sometimes, but overall wonderful submission!

Your art style is so freakin charming! I feel like it added a lot. And the charm soothed my crushing inability to be good at logic games like this (I got so locked into this game but seemed to suck the same after each run). Great work!

I know I am just echoing everyone else, but the grid based inventory system paired with the gun building system was just so neat. Showed me the how cool game jam games can be even with such short timeframe, so thank y'all for creating an awesome game!

Fun and easy to jump right into! The cartwheel animation geeked me out haha, loved it.
