Thank you for the kind comment!

Thank you for the kind comment!

I agree, this doc would be a nightmare to print. I fully intend to release a plaintext print-friendly version soon.

Thank you so much for the kind comment! Much of making this game was the process of teaching myself how to use Affinity software, so I'm very glad the art/design seems to have mostly hit the mark!

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment!

Just got a chance to playtest for the first time yesterday and you were correct, it was too easy haha I have since cranked up the difficulty of the last 2 encounters and reuploaded. Nothing crazy, but enough to draw it out a bit more.

Loud and psychedelic in the best way, both tonally and aesthetically. The art looks like it belongs on a 90s punk album cover and the class options seem like characters from a cartoon you could only watch after your mom went to bed. Could benefit from more tangible examples of how to set up scenes/objectives IMO, but that's my only complaint. Ultimately it looks like a lot of fun! Would pair well with cheap cigarettes and friends from your home town.

The dice mechanics are super neat! It's original but still feels like a natural extension of the Havoc Engine. You do a good job explaining each individual aspect of the game, but I think a more extended example of a player turn, or even full a round, would be helpful to see it all come together.

I like this a lot! This is probably the only Havoc Engine game I've seen that could really lend itself to anything longer than 2 or 3 sessions of play for a single campaign. The example missions sound like a lot of fun, and provide a useful framework to anyone who would want to create their own custom missions. The inclusion of two full pages of gadgets is amazing, with some very clever and evocative +requirements.

Seems like a great way to come up with a Havoc one-shot on the fly! Would make prep super simple for the GM, especially the Location Details Table IMO.

This looks super fun! Simple, but enough going on that I feel like I could sit down and play for an hour or two, easily. The medieval manuscript style illustrations are a great touch, and the idea of an octopus breaking into a human church with the goal of getting its sins forgiven is hilarious.

Unrelated to Havoc Engine

Thank you!

For the tile question, it's sorta up to the GM how easily the mice can navigate the room. I've generally ruled they can jump over one tile without needing a save.

Second question, yes you've got it! If the mouse doesn't catch it or do anything else to prevent it from falling, it bounces off them onto an adjacent tile, d8 to determine which.

That's super flattering haha I've been recently playtesting some new Mausritter adventures I've been workshopping on-and-off for couple years, this is great motivation to finally get them out there!

Thank you!! That's awesome, I heard about it being run at Gary Con. Would love to hear how it goes.

Uploaded the blank map!

Thank you!!

Thank you!!

Not rude at all, I think you have some great ideas! :)

Wow that looks great! I especially like the unique traits and the beetle treats. I almost implemented something about treats in this document actually.

I'm pretty busy with some other Mausritter projects right now, lot of paintings and playtesting in the works for a big setting/adventure  supplement I'm working on, along with some other personal art projects. Could be fun to work on at some point in the future though, or if you wanted to continue with it that would be cool too! Looks like you've got some great ideas already

If it helps, I'm planning on statting them out as an NPC race eventually. Here's a little watercolor I did (that could use some touching up) of a swashbuckling rough-skinned newt merchant! Hawking goods to some mouse adventurers.

Long toed salamander's are also local! I thought about using rough skinned newts, but wanted something smaller and a little less poisonous as a player character  :)

Woot! Invite friends over for a game night and ambush them with facts about native ecology and our fragile ecosystems🌲🌲🌲

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow, thank you so much! It's great to know that people are enjoying it  :)
