Hi! Fellow 3D artist and programmer here.  I don't have a team currently but am reaching out to see if you maybe want to start one together. I primarily stick to Blender (though I do know Maya) and my game engine of choice is Unreal Engine 5.

I've  recently finished another Game Jam project solo for Scream Jam 2025  and wouldn't mind trying to participate in this jam as a group.

Despite the simple graphics a game that was a lot of fun and has a lot of promise if you wanted to expand upon it in the future. The game has a simple game loop that is fun and engaging.

My only wish  is that the player gets to see the consequences from their decisions. The game has a very 'Monkey's Paw' type feel to it and a big thing about that type of premise is seeing how wishes with good intentions can be twisted.

A really fun game and something I'd like to see developed into a full release!

A really great game. The atmosphere, gameplay and art are all really solid and mesh well together.  The scare for losing is also great.

Only complaint I have is that there should probably be a grace period in which the player can read everything and initiate the start of the night after. The first time I played I didn't even realize the night had started until the lights went out and there were people at almost all of the windows.

Overall though a great game!

Unfortunately no.  Got one of the squares but the room with ehe procedurally generating blocks seemed impossible to navigate.

A basic but enjoyable experience. Certain areas were really challenging but can see the vision of a tough/rewarding gameplay loop.

Would recommend giving the player character some sound effects, something like a jumping noise to give the character more weight as the move about.

Overall great work!

I love what is in the game so far! The visuals and style are polished and are a nice blend of cute and creepy. The gameplay is also very smooth and easy to pick up once you know all of the surrounding mechanics.

The only critique, which I think has already been stated by other, is the lack of sound. Having ambience and effects would really go a long way in grounding the game and actions that the player makes.

Overall a really great submission!

Yes the final section does have the monster hunting you and probably could have made that more apparent. As for the exe the idea was that it was you playing it which is something else I probably could have conveyed better had I more time. Happy to hear that you liked the atmosphere and visuals.

Lol not to worries, I welcome critiques, especially since this was one of the big issues I probably should have figured out at some point.

I think I already left a review on your game. Ran into a few bugs but overall solid work!

Yes the monster can get you. In the final maze area it roams and chases you if it sees you. Was going to make it more complicated to actually reach the exit, so that he mounter was more of a threat, but ran out of time to find a meaningful balance that didn't involve blindly roaming the maze and hoping to run into items/puzzle pieces you'd need to escape.

Like the art and music. I did run into a few bugs, primarily regarding the movement of the origami character as sometimes he'd get locked in animation and I could only move left/right but definitely see potential. Well done!

Hi.

There are so many cool games that I want to try so I figured this is the best way to start digging in.

Yes I'm aware that's an issue. There's not really anything I can do to fix that as it is more a thing on Window's end that flags software that doesn't have a known reputation. I can assure you though that there is nothing malicious in my game.

Hello!
Congratulations to everyone who submitted a game for the jam. This is my first time participating and I would love some feedback.
