w00t! Finally beat it on Hard difficulty! My favorite aspect of Siege Guard is how quickly things can fall apart sometimes. There were many times where all I could do was laugh at my hubris thinking I had a level in the bag.

Fun game! The primary game mechanic is engaging, learning curve is well balanced, the easiest difficulty is still challenging when learning the game, unique game elements are introduced through memorable and relevant scenarios, and there's a high replay value from trying multiple strategies for surviving stages. Definitely an addictive combination of enjoyable gameplay, increasing difficulty, and the thrown gauntlet of completing the hardest difficulty.

I couldn't find a way to game the system. Glitches either were non-factors (e.g. managed to place multiple warriors in a single space by double-clicking quickly, but the sprites reset when the attack cycles finished, and there was no apparent bonus to attack) or worked slightly against the player. (Though some "glitches" might be intentional behavior, like where a high number of enemies in a space appeared to sometimes spill over into the next space and would sometimes bypass defenses.) This encourages playing the game well as opposed to cheesing your way through - which is far more rewarding anyway.

Fantastic game for the scope and simplicity!
