There's a video link in the game description. There you can see me struggle trying to juggle the resource piles around :) Having to make video tutorials for base mechanics was certainly not my intent though

Thanks for checking it out! The Win build is now fixed. There's also a full playthrough video of the game on youtube (link in game description). At this point, the playthrough communicates my vision for this project just as well as playing the game itself. The Win build however has a unique feature which both web version and video lack - much better colors (IMO).
The hard critique is what is the most valuable at this stage. I have set out to turn this 7-day sprint into a marathon, if not for any other reason than to see for how long this pace can be sustained. You and other people have brought up valid issues and I am planning to address them all, as well as many complaints of mine own. I am very grateful for the people who were able to see through technical issues of this game to. Just know that there's much more to come.
Too slow for my taste - I much prefer the unlimited time controls - both for speed and rewind/undo. I would really enjoy experimenting with constructing the graphs of this nature if only game wasn't this sloooow. Also, there's no way to sell a poorly placed tower - the only way to fix a mistake is to restart from scratch. Also, I couldn't figure out how to make forks in the road - I was only allowed to build new roads starting from the nexus. Maybe this can be fixed with more detailed instructions on the game page.
The "wall shooting trap" things are too annoying. Same as reset to the very start. Same a just a single life. Not my type of game - I want to experiment within the game world at no cost. If I wanted to be punished for mistakes and misunderstanding of the rules I would've joined the army. That said, this is a game that seems to achieve its goals - the uneasy atmosphere, the feel of impending demise, things such as that. Would be a perfect evening play for people who enjoy those things.
Are there more than two planets? Are sell/buy prices different on each planet? Are these things random? You could add the planet coords to the game description on Itch so the players can look for them in game. And if randomness if on a fixed seed, you can also give hints on how to make more money in game buy speculating on the trades - all by editing the game description. This will make this prototype into a game without editing code! Not sure if that would be "cheating" - making the game more fun after the submission date - but I would definitely enjoy it more. And the planets and sun are very pretty!
