For the sake of cheering up the dev, let's assume that those who wanted to play the game have already downloaded it and are having fun, which is expected to get off their minds the absence of the keys—at least for a time—while the rest aren't having fun so they're getting vocally impatient about the keys. My theory thus far.

I wonder if it's self-isolation taking its toll or it's just that the spring has come in earnest — people getting vocally impatient about a free Steam key for a game received for free that they most probably don't even need, care much about, or ever intend to play.
