The game was clean, responsive, and fun to play, so I'd call that a success for your first jam. Congrats!

What a fun game! Great movement and art. I'll definitely be back to play again.

What a fun game! Very creative concept, and I love the disco mode. Took me a little bit to get the hang of it, but that just added to the enjoyment.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Your note about the roots is a great point. I definitely need to tune the difficulty, and I have a bunch of ideas to move it forward. Really glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

Thanks so much! I'm working on new puzzles for a post-jam version.

What a fun game, and the graphics definitely fit the jam theme! I love the different languages and the customers' wild preferences :)

What a fun game! And I love the sound effects and that voice over is amazing. I can't believe you put together such a great game in such a short time. Really great - I'll be back to play again for sure.

Thanks for playing, those are both great feedback items. This was my first completed Game Jam and I learned a ton. Looking at other games submitted, I can see you're right. I have some great ideas based on player feedback on how to clean up and fix some of the aspects of this game for a post-jam release. And I have a better idea what to focus on for the next jam. It's a process :) And I really appreciate the comments!

Thanks for playing! There is a bug in the collision with the items that should be obstacles, which makes it confusing. I am working on a fix. Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks! I'm working on a bug fix on the roots. I think the collision area is a little off. And the next version will let you escape out, so hopefully dying will be a little less painful. Appreciate the comments!

Thank you!

Thanks! Yes there were some issues there to work out for sure. I got stuck on a couple of technical issues early on and had to rush the end. I am currently putting together a bug fix for the light beam. Thanks again for the feedback!

This was a lot of fun to play. Also love the connection with Win95! The upgrade system and messages pushing the story line were great too. Really interesting game mechanics. It's something I'd definitely come back and play.

Wow, that was fun. I agree with previous comments - your camera work movement was well done, and I really like the sounds and music.

What a fun game! Even once you get the hang of it, you have to really try and plan ahead. My high score was 45.

Thanks for playing! Yes, I had plans for more levels and another plant (spider plant) with some different mechanics, but my focus was to get out at least a playable game. There are a few things I would have changed, but this jam was a great learning experience. Appreciate the feedback.

What a great concept for a game! Great visuals too. It was really fun to play.

Thanks so much, it's my first time completing a jam and I learned a ton. The community and the feedback has been amazing.

Great visuals and atmosphere. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but once I did, it's a fun game.

Thank you!

Thank you!

What a fun game! I love how much thought has gone into the different levels. Love the theme, graphics, and sound to. The type of game I can get addicted to.

Thanks for playing my game! The computer and the wastebasket are meant to block the roots, but I think I may have a bug with the collusion areas being a little too large. If you click and drag the left mouse, you should be able to draw the zigzagging lines to one of the water sources (in the first Office level, try going to the watering can on the top of the bookshelf), and see if that works?

I am pretty happy where things are netting out, I think. Really this was more of a forced creative session and to test out a couple new ideas. Looking forward to testing everyone's games too!

I agree with the rest of the crowd here. I entered Game Jams for years and then quit at the last minute because it wasn't "good enough" in my mind. In hindsight, I wish I had just push whatever I had over the finish line. Even a single level with some basic mechanics to get your ideas across is worth it.

Fun game!  I really like the style of art, and the controls are great.
