If you have 1,2 or even 3 servers that broke down, you can still download the signal. The side effect is just that signal will download a bit slower. If you don't see the download going on, you either haven't set up polarity and frequency correctly (remember that you have to switch different polairty settings, it is a red knob above two blue buttons), or this is a bug.

You have to upgrade server stability and they will hardly break

I don't quite agree with you on some points and try to provide arguments on why I disagree.

1. Haven't tested that, so I have no comment on this one.

2. That's why you have to learn to play if you are just starting out and these are your first 10 days. It is possible to maintain all satellites + complete all tasks and process signals for the next day and even have some sleep and additional time to find signals for the next day (I usually do all tasks in half a day), you just have to know the way around organizing yourself (for example make a roadmap for yourself meaning when you go fix satellites, you check if there are any satellites from the daily hash task so that you simultaneously fix some satellites and gather hashes in one go, this is easy). Make sure you are familiar with sv.target command (it points you to the target satellite with red arrow on compass).

3. If you want to avoid hunger ragdoll, simply eat. You can buy yourself a crowbar and break all 'supply' crates, they have plenty of MREs inside, it will last you until the endgame even. Hunger is the game mechanics and this is the point. I doubt one would feel good and not faint if one hasn't eaten in a long time. Sleep and gas is easy to manage, just take time learning the game mechanics and management. One tip: while you work on signals, every 2-4 minutes you can go and use the toilet to get +5 stamina and also when you download/process signal, you can just go sleep to simultaneously do something and restore some sleep. It is simple as that.

4.Polarity and frequency drift might be due to the bad weather and this is normal and should be happening during rain/thunder or sometimes cloudy weather. Game mechanics as well. Actually first half of the game you don't really sit, this is bad strategy, you fix satellites and complete reports to gain some points and upgrade server stability and other stuff. When you upgrade server stability you will notice that servers break less and with higher break interval (they live longer basically). Of course you should collect signals, but from start first 1-3 days you probably will be asked to only send level 0 signals if you don't upgrade.

5. Just learn and try to find propery way for yourself on how to manage resources, its not difficult at all. In the beginning you have to do some work which if done properly, will be rewarding later.

I never tested what happens when all sattelites have 0 out of 4 packages (basically not functioning). I guess that when you have all satellites functioning it equals to 100% downloading speed. If you have zero satellites functioning it means 0% download speed. But these are just my speculations, I haven't tested that. But definitely maintaining all satellites is necessary as well as calibrating them with 'sd.calall' command

Hey, on this particular screenshot I see that your downloading is only at 88.4%, it has to be 100% in order to save the signal. It should save that signal then for sure. Unless its some kind of a strange bug (I myself have saved that signal).

Hey, don't know why 2 people put minus to your post, but i completely agree. At least there would be sense to sleep a bit. But I rather would make coffee restore sleep a bit less overall and maybe decrease efficiency a bit only after 2-3 days of not sleeping. It seems more logical. Maybe even increase price a bit if you want it to not be that op.

Hey, i noticed that the reports are wrong sometimes when i sent them, but then i noticed something. Hashes sometimes have these letters which are similar, for example small 'l' and capital 'i' are almost identical. Also you might mistakenly write down 0 (zero) instead of letter O, or vice versa. Also i noticed that the number '1' looks like the letter 'l', so this is one more thing to look out for. I think the developer has to remove conflicting letters. For example, remove letter 'O' (as it is similar to zero) and remove capital letter i as well. So just be really careful when writing down reports and type letters in console in order to figure out the exact letter you are seeing on a hash.

I think this segment is still in development. You can try to explore the game in 'creative' mode (you can press V to fly in creative) and check out bunker and other stuff. But I think I had better kept that a secret for myself ;) Also you can't open bunker by turning off electricity

Just go to sattelites from your task and type sv.hash in the console, then write down the sattelite name with the hash separated by singe space between them. Final result should look like this:
lima abcdefg12
tango abcdefg12
