Amazing game, and more than worth a playthrough. The mechanics are tight, and just feel right. I love the pallets and pixel art too. The flow of the map is great, secret paths here and there. Nothing feels overly simple or overly complicated. If I had to give one criticism, it would be the ending feels flat, but despite that I will be playing this again.
It has some super fun retro achievements too, so be sure to turn those on if your emulator supports them.
If you are wavering about buying the game, I would happily pay full price twice over for it, it's well worth it.
