Thank you so much for your kind words! They're pages,  not coins, but I can see how that's hard to tell. 😅

This is great! The artwork is adorable and the opening animation blew me away, it's the most impressive-looking visual I've seen from this jam by far. Great use of the theming as well! Overall, I would not be surprised if this ends up as one of the winners.

I was surprised by how much fun this was, and it emulates the Nokia art style quite well. It's super satisfying to swing your snowball into a large crowd of enemies and take them out all at once.

That penguin looks so done with life and I don't blame him.

Props to you for your originality, because I'm completely bewildered about how the concept of an "ant burger simulator" of all things came up. As for the game itself, it's pretty high-quality all around, nice work! My only real criticism is that I think the game could have benefitted from using its star mascot Jerma to a greater extent.

This was a fun little game that felt very polished. It brings back memories of playing as the swordfish companion in Donkey Kong Country, which I assume is what you were inspired by. The hand-drawn cover art was also a nice touch, overall, great job!

We only had 10 hours to develop the game on the programming end so I apologize if it feels like this:

Beautiful frogge.

That was such a cute, cozy, and well-made game! I think the thing I was most impressed by was the graphics and presentation, which was of a level of quality I'd expect to see from a professional release. The wide variety of minigames such as fishing, chopping wood, and lighting the fire was nice too! Although I don't think I fully understood how the fishing one worked. Overall, great entry and I'd love to see more from your team in the future! :)

Very nice entry! I was blown away by the diverse amount of features in this demo, especially when I realized you went as far as to add a built-in note taking application. The movement and abilities feel really nice to use, and I can see a lot of exciting potential in the combining items function. My only notable criticisms are that it can be unclear what all the features of the game are if you don't read the full description, so it took me awhile to realize I even had an inventory. That, and upon pressing the interrogate button on Barthélémy while there was nobody to ask about my game got soft-locked. Overall it was a really fun, well-made demo and I found all 4 of the dead-ends!

This is a great entry that makes really good use of the optional detective theme! I'm a big fan of logic puzzles so it was a pleasant surprise to find out that this game not only had them, but considerably challenging ones at that. The visuals were cute and polished, matching the standard of quality of a professional release so it's impressive that you were able to make this in such a short amount of time. If you decide to develop this into a full game I'll definitely be giving it a purchase. Fantastic work!

What a fantastic submission! The characters and dialogue are incredibly charming and it has without a doubt one of the most unique art styles I've seen in this jam. While playing it I was filled with comfy feelings of nostalgia for the children's picture books I'd have read to me as a child, which is a theme this game captures perfectly.  June in particular is so cute and cuddly looking you just want to reach into the screen and hug him! The only major gripe I have is that the orthogonal movement is very slow so I spent the entire game walking diagonally. If you ever make a game akin to this again whether it be in the form of a game jam or full, paid game I'd definitely check it out!

This is a lot of fun! It might be my favorite game of the jam so far in terms of actual gameplay. Unfortunately I crashed at the end so I couldn't see what all this game has to offer, but I had a blast leading up to it nonetheless. I'm giving it a 10/10 regardless because frogge.

Really loving the look and feel of this one. If you ever expand it into a larger scale city builder I'll be there ASAP!

It's a fun, simple idea for a game but the hitboxes are bit janky and the death sound is really loud. Overall it was quite enjoyable despite its faults. :)

This was fantastic! My favorite thus far and it really feels like something that could've existed as a real Gameboy game.

Historians argue that ant genocide of 2023 could've easily been avoided by just moving the pie someplace else, but we wouldn't have gotten a fun little game that way.

Very cute game! As Iggy pointed out it would be better if there were more clearly defined tasks instead of wandering around randomly but what it's worth it's a nice lil' bite-sized adventure.

Cute lil' game! Congrats on being the first submission; you must work really quickly.

That was quite fun! It gave me a lot of nostalgia for the era of adobe flash games.

I expected the turkeys to be more civilized than feral based on their classy top hats. Fun little game; I made it to level 8!

That was such a nice little game! The visuals were very cute and well-made.
