This was pretty cool, the rock jump and oil dash felt really good. The art is also really well done. That last level was pretty tricky,.

Good job!

Yeah, I ran out of time. The plan was was that the upper layers would be melting, so you had to stay ahead of that and balance the risk of going out of your way to collect toppings to dig better vs going straight down to stay ahead of the melting.

I squandered a lot of the time, and everything took longer than anticipated. Unfortunately everything that would have made the game worth playing was put off in favor of things that would make the game "complete".

I did have time to add a timer, and considered it, but I knew I wouldn't have time time to playtest it and balance it against the upgrade schedule. The last thing I wanted to do to anyone who actually played this thing, was make them try again if I wasn't generous enough with the timer.

Thanks for playing, thanks for the feedback. I think once Godot version 4+ supports exporting C# projects I might revisit the project and get it to "worth playing for 15 minutes in browser"

Came for the grease, stayed for the music

Pretty neat game, I accidentally discovered a few slick maneuvers while attempting to get that last fly. I'm following, and will check it out again if end up doing that post jam update you mentions.

Sorry about that.

Thanks for playing, the kind words, and the bug report. I have fixed it but cannot re-upload until the game jam judging is over.
