Oh, okay. Good to know. "Bug" haha, nice.

The only part where I was really lost on the controls was when I needed to equip the gun. Everything else was presented clearly. And to be fair, this might have been clear, too, I just didn't catch it. <3

Same here. I would have liked to see the rest of the game, but I couldn't get past this part. Otherwise, the first level was a nice and classic platformer with some fun animations!

The scope of this game is impressive considering the time window. I didn't finish it the first go, but I can tell you put a lot into the story.

It kept freezing for me when I was trying to drag the bugs off the plate? Not sure why. I tried it a few times. Otherwise nicely done!

Hey, you did it! You made a game. I watched your video and it looks like you're also starting this journey. I would highly recommend an all-in-one game development tool to help you get started with the concepts. I started with PICO-8, which has a great community base, and now I use Pixelfalls, which is honestly a dream come true after learning a few basics.  Pixelfalls also has an exceptional sound/music editor, which based on your YT posts I think you would enjoy playing around with it. Rock on.

We got away! Ticks all the boxes for me, you've done a fine job here! The controls were a little tricky to figure out, might be nice to list them on some sort of Heads Up Display (HUD) so the player can always know what button press options there are. The game was fun and short, nicely done.

Thanks for playing! I am glad you liked it. And yes, with a couple of small nudges with the riddles, or emphasizing specific words, they were able to make it to the end. They got some good giggles out of it, especially from Beeky.

One of the only games this Jam I was able to finish, excellent work! The art and music were great, the puzzle was the perfect amount of painful. It is an excellent tiny game, you should feel proud. The browser window was not resizable, which would have helped, but I just zoomed in.

Excellent work with the art. It feels a bit like guess work, and you can only guess so many times before your character explodes? Haha, makes sense, if you think about it. Then you start over. Lots of friction to starting all over when you're trying to get to such a high number of dollars, but it is also helpful to know you have a goal right out of the gate. I'd recommend add in-game instructions for the first box at least. Plays well, though.

Excellent use of the theme. Loved the art. I laughed at the museum review comments, haha!

I think you did really well with your art and puzzle design. It is also very spooky. Almost too spooky for me, haha. The way the lights move is a chilling touch. I understand the door locking mechanic, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't racing the clock to gather wood AND play the game/solve the puzzles., but that is just a personal preference. I didn't make it to the end because of the spooky/high pressure stuff, but I solved some of the puzzles and really liked it. You should feel proud of what you've got here!

A cute little game!  I liked how the music changed when you picked up the gun, haha! The music is nice. The controls are tough and the platforms are tight, so I ended up skipping the gun and found I didn't have to fight the wall. Satisfying ending!
