It seemed to me that from the pictures and tags it's clear, although I would call it a short animated film, since there's quite little text and most of the action happens on the screen. :)

Well now, partner, I’d be happier’n a coyote in a henhouse to saddle up and take part in testin’ yer game. 🤠

Yes, I’m getting about 15–20 FPS by the feel of it, and changing the screen resolution doesn’t affect it at all. Also, even at the minimum mouse sensitivity, the mouse sensitivity is still too high.

Your project looks very promising and cool — the visuals, soundtrack, and sound effects are made at a very high level!

But I can’t say the same about the code. The game’s code is just awful. Not only does the game run terribly despite such graphics, but the settings don’t work either. It feels like the author didn’t test the game at all.
Does changing the screen resolution work? No.
Does lowering the mouse sensitivity work? Yes, but the minimum value is still huge for even a slightly comfortable game. I literally felt dizzy from how fast the mouse moves…

It really upsets me that such a great project didn’t get proper support from its author and will remain unknown.

Oh, and I also got thrown out of the game because of some error…

I hoped the game would run smoother for the reviewer above, but NO — I’m shocked, but it lags even more for him than for me…

Author, I will gladly play your game if it gets at least some optimization. Sorry if I offended you with my words, but it’s sad to see such a cool project have such terrible code.

Bonjour, merci beaucoup pour votre avis ! Il est possible que je fasse une traduction en français à l'avenir :)

Howdy, partner!

Yes, it’s all part of the same universe, but I’d recommend playing the games in release order:
"Pigeon West: Johnny the Pigeon", then "Pigeon West: El Diablo", and finally "Pigeon West: Call Of Gun. ISEKAI".
I try not to recycle old jokes — instead, I improve and evolve them with each new game.
So if you start with the latest one and then go back to the first, some jokes might not land as well.

With every new chapter, I push the scale and ambition further. 😎

If you’re in it for the story, feel free to play in any order — each part is a wild chapter in the life of one seriously badass pigeon.

Oh, I absolutely love this project! I’ve played through it several times, ever since the time when the Bear Constellation was the final chapter. Now that I’ve remembered the game again, I’m so happy that after all these years, the developer actually managed to finish it and didn’t abandon the project!
Thank you so much for all your hard work!

I love my Russian-speaking fans, but with all due respect, I would prefer not to have that country’s flag in my game.

Thank you so much for the feedback! If you enjoyed this part, give the other chapters of Johnny the Pigeon’s story a chance too.

I hope you'll be able to feel the same emotions as you did with this novel.

Thank you very much for the feedback, partner. :)

Happy to oblige.

*El Diablo is pleased with your comment.*

You're absolutely right — the map was added later, after the game's release, to help players better navigate the world. This eventually led to a more complex system: the arrows indicate the direction the character will move, not cardinal directions like north, south, east, or west.

To fix this, I tried adding a triangle on the map that shows the character’s field of view — to make it clearer which way the character is facing. But yes, unfortunately, it didn’t help much, and the system still feels a bit confusing for some players. :(

Гарна робота, як для Джему — художники постаралися на відмінно! Великі молодці, всі й кожен, але впевнений, що кодер міг би попрацювати трохи краще :)

Сподіваюся, у повноцінному проєкті ідею доведете до кінця.

Yes, you're right, there's no city map in the game, but your map is a bit inaccurate — here's a more accurate map of the city.

Thank you so much, partner, for playing my game—your reactions are something else :D

In the Pigeon West series, there’s just one main hero but a whole range of different stories, so feel free to read them in any order you like!

There’s a video guide above on how you can do it :)

Yes, of course, you can make a video about this game :)

Well, I'll tell ya what—I'm downright tickled to see a comment from someone who played the whole darn game through! For me as the fella who made it, that's sweeter than honey on a hot biscuit. Much obliged, partner )

Sounds great, I would be happy to accept your help :)
I have sent a friend request on Discord.

Sure :)

I don't see anything wrong with submitting my game to your collection.

A very cool but short project, I liked it, thanks to the author. There are very few cowboy-themed games nowadays.

I made a video about the true ending, it also shows where the map is.

But if you don’t want to watch the video, you can find the map if you look at the house and head to the right.

:)
