The we now got our own Subreddit and Discord on the main page of this site should be we've, not we. Also do u know why the gates in the ruins of the Lagoon Zone were closed in earlier versions of the game? Was it tied to something else missing in the Zone or did u just forget to open them when u first released the restored version of the Lagoon Zone as a whole? Because they're open properly now like they should be and it wasn't mentioned they were closed at first in earlier versions and u didn't mention which update they were first opened, not closed like they should be. Do u also remember what the last 2 non-restored objects in the Lagoon do? Specifically the object in the ruins and the paddle on the giant tree? Also shouldn't there be an invisible wall to the left of the starting area in the Lagoon? Because u can fall right through the ground there since there isn't one in place like there should be. There's also missing collision on the open doors and their columns found throughout the pathways on the giant tree that should be checked and fixed. Lastly, shouldn't the Moolah Mountain victory screen at the end for making it to the bottom in time only use 1 animation? Because sometimes it incorrectly uses the hamster animations for reaching the finish line not quickly enough in timed Challenge Mode mazes. Shouldn't it only uses the maze objective/finish line found in time complete victory animation instead of those since the other animations currently in place for making it to the bottom of Moolah Mountain in time are animations for not completing the maze objective in time and  therefore are losing animations and not proper victory ones seen for completing objectives in-game in time? Or is that the way it was in the original GANZ version of the game on Webkinz? It also said in your April Fools update in an earlier version of the game u released that the Sprinkles ball design was added to the ball selection screen but it's not there like it should be after your recent updates past that version. Did u forget to add it to later versions past that April Fools update it was first restored in? There's also a small yellow line to the upper left side of the in game music note icon when playing the levels that shouldn't be there-make sure to remove it so it looks right. And in the future when you're almost done with re-building certain in-game features for the next in-game version update, can u post a comment on the main page of this site that gives us an estimated date of when u think they'll be ready for us to play for ourselves in later updates?

When I asked earlier today about what you're restoring next, I meant AFTER next week's update when the Hamlet Challenges are restored- what's next after THAT? Key Craze and Gift Grab, the Maze Builder or Challenge Maze restoration specifically?

Do u have a photo of the Challenge Maze's Trophy Collection Screen from the original game I can see? Can u also be more specific on what I have one of? Is it the flags I mentioned in the Forest Zone or something else I mentioned? Also yeah, that's what the daily prizes u earned in Key Craze and Gift Grab in the original game were too so that's exactly the right idea you've got! It would also be nice to have some inspiration from the Webkinz World rooms as well- especially since the old game didn't have anything like that- at least that I remember of when I last played when it went down in 2015. Did u also play Webkinz too in the past? And just cause' I'm curious, how do you know so much about the original game? Did u used to play it before it was removed from Webkinz World 10 years ago or did someone tell u about it last year and u decided to finally work on restoring it then? Also do u remember the exact date u started restoring this game, when the first demo became available, and who told u about it and found the first assets of the original version of the game? Next, If u ARE talking about the colored Forest Zone pawprint flags of various colors, I'm saying should the ones on the tree platforms and their roofs should have collision since the ones on the ground already have theirs coded in properly since they are next to the bases of the trees u find those ones at. Just saying it so all the flags on the tree platforms have proper collision that match the ones on the ground so it is correct in the end. Finally, what are u planning on restoring next? Key Craze and Gift Grab then Challenge Mazes? And will u restore this to Webkinz World fully when this is finally finished to your likings or will this always be separate from Webkinz World from then on when it's done? Just curious since that's how u accessed and played the original version of the game back in the old days! P.S.- I noticed it took u a few days to read this one. Before u respond to all the questions I ask often, do u usually always check and confirm what I mention in each is true when u play the game yourself? It would also be nice if there was someone from the original development team of the old version of the game who still lives so they could help u restore this faster! Or do u prefer not doing that for more of a challenge or because that would be harder to do and u want it to be fully fan-made-restored with rare custom code the original game didn't have?

In this recent update u released 2 weeks ago u forgot to properly update the game's MAZIN' News  article image you're shown when u click on it's icon-it's picture still uses the Mountain Zone Hamlet entrance preview picture and not the Forest zone one like it should and did in the Mountain Zone update future features from the last version's MAZIN' News article. Also found some more bugs in the Mountain and Forest Zone u should check out and fix for next week's update:

Mountain Zone:

* There seems to be some invisible walkable floor underneath the castle entrance drawbridge u can stand on- is that an oversight from the original game-should it be there or not?

* The moving steel piston mechanisms that operate the drawbridge itself on either side-the light-grey squares found next to the gears on either side of it have no collision-the ones on the castle entrance side can be passed through by walking through them, while the ones on the wall on the opposite side of the drawbridge can be jumped through

* The first moving obstacle on the mountain path at the starting zone- the right-hand path- the wall pusher mechanism has no collision on the wall slot it's hooked up to- it can be jumped through as well- looking at it from the path itself through the wall also shows it's backside is not rendered correctly-it's all white in the back when it shouldn't be-it should be brown like the rest of it

* The sword and shield decoration above the castle throne also has no collision- it can be jumped through too

* The small log pile to the left of the fireplace in the castle also has no collision and can be walked through as well

* Shouldn't the candles in the chandeliers in the castle be lit? Or are they not meant to be if that's how they were in the original game?

* There's a misplaced floating beetle in the river rapids traps section behind the castle close to the bottom of the waterslide near the ceiling- does it belong there or not? Or does it get relocated elsewhere? Did u also properly check the collision on the small round blooming cactus plants around the Zone I mentioned a few weeks prior? Because u can still walk through those.

Forest Zone:

* Most of the colored flags in the Zone that mark the various tree structure platforms don't have collision- some on the ground do, while most of the others found on the tree platforms or on their roofs can be passed through

Lastly, what are u planning on doing with all the old Webkinz prizes from the original game like Challenge Maze trophies and Hamlet challenge prizes like Kinzcash and special items exclusive to Webkinz World from clearing Hamlet challenges 5 and 10? Will the Challenge Maze trophies get their own collection room or something since this restored version may not be linked up to Webkinz again when completed? Or will they just be forgotten assets never to be used anywhere in this restored version ever again?

So all of those maze assets and everything else can be rebuilt using their corresponding YouTube videos as guides right? And the Misplaced objects in the Forest and Lagoon Zones are SUPPOSED to be there since that's their old locations in the original Ganz version of the game? Haven't u considered relocating them in-bounds properly or is there nothing u can do about them?  Does this apply to ALL later misplaced objects as well if that's where they were found in the original version of the game? And were the new custom jump animations and the red boathouse lamp light colors in the Lagoon Zone in the original version of the game or added for fun?

Okay, Fresco is there on the menus now after the patch u just released earlier today but he's misnamed as Nimbi, not Fresco like he should be. Make sure his name displays properly on the menus as well, okay? And u didn't update the web version description below the "Hello Hamsters!" text on the main page since yesterday's update as well, too. And would this be a good starting point site for restoring more or the rest of the missing hamsters and their associated assets? If not, u can also use it as a base for restoring the original hamster models to the game too! https://webkinzguide.com/wiki/Mazin%27_Hamster_Pets

Lastly, here's a few more bugs for u to fix:

* U shouldn't be able to have control of your hamster during in-game text boxes, right? Because even though it does work properly when u pause in Moolah Mountain, it doesn't work with the "Welcome to the Hamlet!" text or the in-game Zone descriptions when u enter the 3 main Zones in the main Hamlet areas. And shouldn't the "You are leaving the zone text" for the Forest and Mountain zones be green and red respectively like their entry and welcome to the zone text are as well? Or were they blue in the original Ganz version as well?

* The 2 arches behind the starting area in the Forest Zone that u use to leave the area don't have collision either- u pass through both of the on your way out

* The purple round trampolines in the Forest Zone also don't have the collision on their sides coded properly-u can walk right through their wooden bases and they'll send u up as if u jumped on them even if u walk through them this way-there's also one of them misplaced under the river at some point-u can see it if you're standing on a certain slope under one of the vertically moving gear platforms in the back central area  of the Zone near one of the underground entrances/exits to clip the camera into the ground

Finally, make sure to capitalize all the 1st letters in the words of the names of the hamster balls to match the others when selecting the ball we wish to use around the game and in future updates!

U said that the Fresco hamster was added in today's update, but he's not in the catalogue or  the first adoption hamster selection screen at the start of new data at all. U must have not checked that he was properly in those menus before the update was released. Just so u know. Because he's supposed to be in those menus and when I checked this web version and the Windows version even after the update he's not there like he's supposed to be.

Here's a list of bugs u can fix for next week's update. I've found quite a few in both the Mountain and Lagoon Zones so here's a list of what bugs I found in each:

Mountain Zone:

* The black iron fences between the swinging hammers area and the perimeter of the castle area at the bottom just past the drawbridge before the lower level entrance have no collision-u  just walk right  through them-u can also walk through a few more things as well due to them not having any collision yet also- specifically the trunks of the trees behind the castle at the very top of the level at the end of the swinging hammers climb and the small round blooming cacti-like plants scattered around the zone

Lagoon Zone:

* Quite a few waterfalls scattered around the zone still don't have their splash effects added yet

* There's also a misplaced pushable ruins object WAY above the ruins themselves- specifically at the very top of the level inside some geometry for the giant tree- u can see it for yourself if u fly directly above the ruins with the golden propeller flowers

* Lastly there's a spot on the giant tree where no water is present- specifically at the first junction where the tree splits into 2 paths that connects to the ruins area and the area behind the giant waterfall

Also can u please raise the jump height once you've checked it for yourself? Because some jumps in the Hamlet Zones are much harder due to the fact u jump a little too low compared to earlier versions- I'm sure you'll agree it definitely makes some jumps in the zones harder than they were in the GANZ version of the game- I just want to make sure the jump height is the same as it was in  the original version of the game on Webkinz. Do u also mind if I keep asking my questions on the site here? I have autism so It makes me nervous to join your discord because of that.

What's the story of the hidden key in the giant carrot that can only be grabbed by the carrots hamster behind the catapult at the very start of Moolah Mountain? Was that in the original game at all? If so, why is it even there? Did u add it back to the game after the old GANZ version on Webkinz dropped it? Are there any videos covering what it might have unlocked? It looks like a Key Craze chest key since it matches the design of the keys seen in the preview on the button to play it on the hamlet main menu. If it IS for Key Craze, why is it there even though we cant play that minigame until a later update? How come it also isn't saved to a special inventory screen on the main menu after grabbing it? Cause after I grab it and complete the rest of Moolah Mountain with it obtained, even though I see it on the results screen at the bottom, I go back behind the starting catapult to make sure it's not there and it's respawned even though I already grabbed it. Can u give me a full explanation with video links if you've got one? And finally, what's the key actually for if it's NOT for Key Craze at all? Does it unlock a special video or in-game prize? Because it also has a video icon underneath where u grab it... Sorry for the long comment as well. I've still got lots of questions to ask u in due time so I hope u don't mind me asking u and u answering  as many of them as I have.

I thought u said the windows version updates automatically. Mine didn't. Did u make sure it works on that version?

There's a royal blue flower near the top of the tree that's still missing it's light in the lagoon zone. Also there's a purple flower nearby it that's floating in midair. Just so u know... Also how come the lamp lights properly light up your hamsters when you're near them but not the lights from the flowers? And are there meant to be purple flower lights in the zone at all? Because I'm not sure why it's there when there are no other purple flower lights on the tree or anywhere else in the zone at all. Was it part of the old zone model from the Ganz version or did it just get misplaced and discolored? Seems odd to me for it to be misplaced and a color the other lights on the tree don't even use...?

Which version should I download on my computer if I want to keep the save data between updates properly? The MazinLauncher.zip, the LinuxOS build.zip clip,  or the MacOSBuild.zip? Which one is the best for the computer and the one people most commonly download on it? Also can u tell me how to download each of the  computer versions properly? Lastly, will the game automatically update all 3 versions when u post new versions restoring the game content or do I have to manually update the version I download on my computer myself each time?

(1 edit)

When did u post the latest game update that fixed the lagoon features? Also how come the adopted hamsters or game data doesn't carry over properly from the previous versions like it should? Lastly, did u lower the jump height a little? Cause that's not listed in the update info.

can the challenges in the hamlet zones be restored to fuctionalitly?
