I greatly appreciated the sincerity of and the thought that went into this game. As someone planning on going to mortuary school, I was seriously moved by this. [Spoilers, I guess, from here on] I also immediately felt as though this had some connection to the Order of the Good Death and I absolutely loved that (the character definitely felt based off Caitlin Doughty). I loved the incorporation of green burials, respect with LGBTQ funerals and traditions of different cultures when it comes to death of a loved one. Also, as someone who just lost my dog of 14 years a week ago, this game made me cry (in the best way) and even helped me process some of my grief.
