in the current 12.5 patch i still cannot cook properly as only a thin bar stretches on top of my screen and the only available action is to stir

everytime i try to do the cooking minigame it does the pot shaking animation then a thin black line shows up near the top of my screen and i am unable to see the instruction nor am i able to do anything else other than stir the pot.
