I started a new save so this post is mostly irrelevant but I'd still like some answers to the questions I asked please.

So the game has been kinda glitchy (I can collect things like shards and stuff  that I already collected if I exit levels and come back to them, maybe its a feature?) (idk if maybe its because I'm using the web version), but I beat up the creepy lake lady, met Flynn and searched for the "rain temple" (couldn't find it tho)(Oh, and I also unlocked the gun eyes ability). I realized I might need to have initiated a dialog or something with Lauren after the fight (I didn't meet her at the elevator, was I supposed to be able to skip that part?).  So I decided to try and backtrack to deep town but I can't reach the door in the sewers. My question is if I'm soft locked, or if I'm supposed to be doing something else because I am genuinely confused.  And is the map designed to wipe when you leave an area, because that's really annoying. Version number 0.18.14b.
