Need some feedback on game design!
I've worked for many years on AAA games as 3D-Artist, and now interested in switching to indie-development. That's my first solo project that I decided to make public, and genuinely interested in some comments and thoughts
The game - Click.Heaven!
Initial concept - to build a game around the single button that's fun to press. Everything else has derived from that idea
Key points i've been exploring and practicing on:
- Game-feel / Juice. Interactive and responsive game in general
- Diverse gameplay that's based on simplest and limited controls
- Balance of gameplay
- SFX and audio
Please let me know what you think!
Where should I look to improve my game design skills? What are the areas for growth? Are there some things that feel obnoxious, unnecessary or overlooked?
