Hello all!! I've been super intrigued by Decker for a while and the jam was a bit of a motivator to finally crack it open and have a go at creating something (ignoring that I also only started a couple days ago shhh). I've had an idea rattling around in my head for a visual novel? point and click game? that explores the idea of a website as a type of haunted house with link rot and lack of support throughout the years. Very heavily inspired by the first forum I used regularly and trying to explore it through the Wayback Machine only to run into constant errors.
It's still very bare bones as I'm still trying to feel out Decker and how to best go around things but here's a little bit of what I've thrown together so far!! I feel like I'm probably doing things in the most roundabout way possible currently but I'll figure it out hahaha. Side note because it is probably very simple - is there a way to change the text colour in a field?
I would be grateful for any and all feedback as well as having this thread to help me keep myself accountable!!
