Which error are you referring to?

Thanks for submitting to Wolves Den! For your submission to be eligible the game needs to be built & published using the Spatial Creator Toolkit: https://Spatial.io/toolkit

You also need to submit a 90 second video pitch telling us about your game and why you should be selected to be on the show!

Best of luck!

Due to some scheduling conflicts, we have had to move the Round 2 deadline up slightly to May 15th.

Other important dates next week:

If you are one of the four teams selected for Round 2, you will be notified on May 16th - please be on the lookout from a message from our team on this day.

Filming for Round 2 will take place on May 17th. If you are selected for Round 2, you must be available to participate in the filming on May 17th, which will be done virtually, to pitch your game to the Wolves! Unfortunately if you are not available to participate in the filming, we will have not select an alternate submission in your place.

We apologize for this change and any conflict this may create to some of you, and we’re here to help answer any questions or concerns you may have!

Submission Requirements Reminder! -A playable game published to Spatial and built with the Spatial Creator Toolkit + Unity -A 90 second video pitch where you make the case for you and your game to be selected to be on the show! You or someone from your team must be visible on screen during the video, as well as footage from your game.

Looking forward to seeing what you all have been working on!

You can use the Virtual Camera component and set the FOV setting to First Person https://docs.spatial.io/virtual-camera#block-8007ffc0f8d94304bd45e9f93063f8ee

Yes you definitely can! Here’s a great example of one: https://www.spatial.io/s/The-Other-Us-Prologue-Horror-Showcase-646db4d40c0da65b48698bff?share=6264334971769970873

You have less than 30 minutes left to submit your entries for Round 1. Again, for this round all you need to do is record a 90 second video pitching your game as well as yourself/your team. Personality and creativity of your pitch is key!

Note: The deadline on Itch game jam page has been updated to be May 5th - this will be the deadline for Round 2. Videos submitted after Midnight EST tonight will be considered for Round 2.

For Round 2 you will really need to BRING IT - both a 90 second video pitch AND a functional game prototype running in Spatial.io are required.

lol appreciate you. the video can be whatever you want. we just ask that you do your best to showcase who you are and what you are building/want to build.

Yes! You can do anything you want in your pitch. Just be sure to also showcase yourself and your personality :)

Yes, we will contact you via email

We will contact directly via email if you are selected.

If selected, you will know if you made top 4 by April 8th. You will also film by this date.

These are subject to change but that’s the schedule as of now.

Yes to both!

Submissions remain open after episode one to pick four challengers for episode two.

Both episodes will include live pitching, Q&A, etc. with the wolves.

The 90 second pitch is just your application that we’ll review in determining who appears on each episode. Make sense?

hey y’all - lol. i appreciate the weirdness of the email. alex is a partner from the production company working on this series. not intended to be sketchy and sorry for the confusion.

we relaxed the requirement to apply to be on episode 1; only a 90 second video pitch is required.

for episode 2, it’ a video pitch + a simple playable prototype.

totally hear you that the existing games don’t fit the theme. the idea wasn’t for a 1:1 port. since the rules allow you to re-use existing code, art, etc, we reached out to people who we thought might be interested in making a pitch that’s a remix of an existing game.

Hey! Click submit project and there’s a space in the submission for a link to your video 👍

Hey y’all!

Basically, we got feedback from the community that they wanted more time to make amazing prototypes.

So…we did two things:

We extended the deadline for submissions for the first episode to April 3rd and made the prototype optional. You can potentially get picked for the first episode with just a video pitch (though if you have a prototype, it helps your case).

We are allowing submissions to continue through the second episode. This deadline is May 5th but for this deadline, a prototype is required.

Just updated the main itch page with all the details and here if you have any questions! 👍👍

Yes, 👍

Thanks for flagging! Alex works with us and has been reaching out to devs whose games he loves. When you did inspect element, where did the link lead?

It’s possible it just had a tracking code or tracking re-direct.

Anyway, glad you’re here and appreciate you flagging again

Jumping in - you can create something from scratch or use an existing game. Only requirements are that you have have the rights to everything you use and that it works with our Unity SDK! https://docs.spatial.io/

Yes and yes! It’s your game. You can do with it what you want.

For the first round, the Wolves are looking for a simple gameplay experience. It should be fun to play and looks great. If you advance to the next round, there will be additional time to continue developing your game.

The entire Wolves Den series, including both the game jam and pitch sessions - will be done remotely.
