Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!

This is a funny interpretation of the theme. I like the different facial expressions. I think it would have been nice to have the reactions listed somehow on screen, because I kept forgetting which one was which. I think the Doki voice lines were fun.

The game clearly works as intended and the art is cute. I like that the game uses Doki's voice, but the sound effect got a bit repetitive after playing for a bit. I think it might help if there was either a non-vocal sound effect or multiple clips of Doki laughing, since voice clips can feel so distinct, but it's not too much of an issue. I like how the score is in the tomato and how the logo fits into the background. Overall, it all comes together well.

This is really cute! The pastel colors are a fun choice and I think the different sticker options look good. Sometimes the minigames didn't feel like they were as responsive as they should have been. The "avoid the sticker" ones were generally fine, though. The music ties it all together. I like that the scenario is clearly inspired by some of Doki's vacation stories, but it's still unique.

Using actual Doki voice lines was fun. I really like the art and animations. There were a couple voice lines that felt like they might have been too long. Sometimes I would hear Doki and think she was getting hit again, only to realize she was still saying something from her previous voice line. Of course, that's also because I wasn't playing very well, so skill issue on my end. Overall, it was reminiscent of cartoons, which made it pretty cool.

I liked that there were references to both current Doki and retro Doki. I occasionally had very minor movement issues like getting stuck on bombs when going to pick one up, but this didn't cause any serious issues. Overall, the game was fun and I thought the death animation was funny.

This was a very ambitious project. The art, music, and voice acting are all really good. The opening cutscene and title screen especially look really nice. I did have a minor problem where there were a few times where the directional mouse inputs combined with the camera caused me issues in the browser. On a couple occasions, Doki was positioned towards the top of the screen while I needed to dash upwards, but I ended up accidentally clicking outside of the game window. I think a full screen button for browser could have helped (although I definitely could have fixed the issue myself by just downloading the game). I think this is the only game that I've played in this jam that has voice acting at all, which is a nice touch.

I had fun getting to 100 dragoons. I had a hard time understanding the instructions at first, but once I started playing the game, I mostly figured it out. I liked the sound effects and food designs.

This game was pretty ambitious for a game jam, including multiple minigames. I thought the computer desktop design and the fake ads were cool. However, there are a couple of bugs that can block game progression. I think for a game jam like this where there's not much time to troubleshoot, maybe a chapter select or something similar would have worked well so that players can still see most of the story even if they encounter issues. The rhythm game art is really cute.

The sprites were cute and the cloning idea is cool. I'd love to see where it goes if you get the time to work on it more.

This game looks great. The stylized art is nice and the music ties it all together. The intro is funny and the bar fight feels appropriately chaotic. I feel like the main attacking sound effects are just a bit loud when compared to the music, but it doesn't stand out too much. Overall, the game was well put together.

This is a really clever way to show the game jam theme. The game concept was fun and pretty unique. I think the UI could have been a bit easier to read. I didn't personally struggle too much, but blue and white text on a mostly blue and white background is a bit rough and sometimes stream messages disappear into the background a bit. I thought the content that Doki reacts to was funny and I enjoyed the stream chat and names. It was fun!

(Side note: Nice work getting an Unreal project to run properly in the browser. I always see a lot of people struggle whenever I look up troubleshooting advice for it, and I've had times where I can't get it to work well.)

I think the overall game ideas and difficulty were good. It was simple to learn, but it would be hard to master completely. I feel like that means the game shows really good potential, and that a longer, full length game in this style could be really fun. I think it would be nice to be able to full screen the game while playing in browser. Overall, it was a fun idea and I enjoyed playing!

(Side note: I saw how close the submission was to the deadline and that's terrifying lol. Glad you made it in!)

The character sprites were expressive and fun to look at. They matched the dialogue well. I think a run button or faster walk speed would help, especially given that the map is large and can be confusing. Additionally, I got stuck in classroom 2B between the teacher's chair and desk and ended up having to restart, so some sort of reset button or teleporter might help. I don't think a lot of people will run into this issue, though, so it's not that big of a deal. The dialogue and references were true to Doki and her friends' streams, interests, and lore, which was nice.

The costumes and setting were really fun for these characters. I liked seeing them put in these new roles. I felt like some of the times to present evidence were slightly "off" compared to what was being said in the testimony, or maybe that multiple possible times should have been accepted. The logic generally felt sound, though. I enjoyed the fact that this felt like a complete story, with wrong answers still regularly having solid dialogue and with a satisfying "chain reaction" solution. Overall, it was a good, cohesive experience.

The pixel art is really good. I think the reflections on the ground are a nice touch. The game feels like it could use some numbers, HUD, or other indicators of what's going on. For example, I'd like to know how much damage my attacks are doing or what level I'm currently at. I thought Doki's overworld sprite was fun and I liked that her old rabbit characters were included; these were nice touches.

The gameplay and general atmosphere of this game felt very polished, especially for a game jam game. I felt like I could have used some instructions, even if they were just on the game's itch.io page. It took me a bit to figure out the controls, but once I did I enjoyed it. I thought the sprite animations and dragoon facial expressions were really fun! Overall, this game really came together nicely.

The scenes and items were funny. The wrecking ball texture made me laugh. I felt like it was a bit hard to move the camera to where I needed it at times, which sometimes made item placement difficult. I was still able to place items where I wanted them eventually, though. I enjoyed watching dragoons and wisps roll around on the table as I was solving puzzles. Overall, it tied into the theme nicely!

Thanks for playing! The lack of music is a definite weak spot on this project

Thanks for playing! There's definitely some challenges to making 2D games in Unreal, but there's a lot of resources and tutorials out there that have helped me.

Thanks for playing! Sounds like you got a good score. An infinite mode is a pretty good idea.

That's a fun gameplay mechanic! Nice work.

I like this concept! I think it's cool how it loops at the end.

Nice that you were able to fit into two themes as well.

I realized a bit too late that there were a few dead zones where there's no bullets.  If I was going to keep working on this, I'd probably put a wall or a stage hazard there to fix it. Or maybe adjust where bullets spawn.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, I haven't seen a lot of other Unreal games around and I'm not really sure why, other than I know their HTML5 support has gotten pretty rocky recently.

I know there's a few dead zones where you can almost completely avoid getting hit by meteors, like on the ceiling. I think it could have used something to fix that if I'd had more time.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, this game ended up being a bit harder than I intended for a few reasons, including some of the visuals. Thanks for checking it out!

I think the music changing speeds helped make sure it didn't get too monotonous because it was a short loop, so I'm glad it was well received.
I agree on the double jump. I didn't plan my assets with a double jump in mind, but then as I was playtesting, the game felt awkward without one. I think if I'd had more time I may have put in a skateboard trick or high jump in instead to get that extra bit of air.

Thanks for checking out my game and devlog!

Yeah, I was hoping the difficulty curve would work well and I think I like how it turned out. Thanks for playing!

Awesome, thanks for checking out my game!

No problem. I knew that'd be a risk developing exclusively for Windows. I may try a web build next time.

Yes, the disc is supposed to move in a slightly random direction when you throw it. That's the concept behind the character being the "worst" at disc golf, because they can't even throw a straight shot and clear a simple course. I thought about trying to make that clearer in game with some sort of dialogue or further instruction, but I ended up opting not to do so. I'll see about updating the description though, because I can see how that could be unclear.

Thanks for checking out my game!
