It's M/M! Ashenivir is trans, but magically transitioned so the sex scenes are cis/cis from a descriptive perspective, if that affects your curation at all ^_^

This has been in my tbr for a little while, and I'm so glad I finally got around to it! A wonderful story, reminiscent of American Gods, dreamlike enough to carry you away, but not so much it becomes confusing.

The thief is an excellent character, a folktale brought to life, and Julia is a great counterpart - independent and curious, and a realistic kind of mess of a person you can't help but root for. Genuinely really enjoyed this story.
