Okay, I have no clue what is causing that issue, on my end it works fine. :/
Which type of controller were you using? It was designed for Xbox so it might not work on other types of controllers.

I hadn't even thought about the wall collisions being an issue, but now that you mention it, I should probably add some player feedback once you hit a wall.
