Thanks! This is my first game jam, so I way overscoped my project. If I expand this idea, I will consider this!

thanks

First, however, I need to know what this game is supposed to be about in theory. I'm very sorry, but I can't help you effectively develop a game that seems to be 10 seconds long with a simple monster chasing you.

What are you supposed to do in this game?

Also, you'll get a lot better at managing your time. I'm also working on the same thing, as I ran out of time for visuals and audio in my submission too.

That's weird, I never got that issue in testing. Do you have any more information on when this is happening? I tried to reproduce the issue on the itch.io page and wasn't able to get it. Were you playing on Windows?

Thanks for the feedback, and I'm considering possibly developing this idea further!

By the way I had literally 0 playtesting that's why the game might be rough, and I also ran out of time  for a better tutorial.

A little confused on what the game is supposed to be about.

I saw the monster, clicked the green button, and it said I won.

I assume your game is longer than 10 seconds, so I want to know how to play more.

(I was going to add a path indicator but ran out of time)

Yeah you're right, I literally stayed up until 5 to create this version. I kinda had to rush the level a bit.

First check your powerup indicator to see if that's actually the next one you're supposed to get, and if it is, go left then up (outside the tower)

I really like the idea of placing ropes and having to do multiple attempts with your previous actions still there!

2 things:

I don't think this game fits the theme too well.

The ropes are a little wonky, I think you should consider increasing the size of the hitbox of the rope.

This game did very well with the artwork and atmosphere, but I feel like it got in the way to the gameplay. There were a lot of blind jumps that felt "unfair" because the player doesn't have enough time to react. Good job on the visuals though!
