This book was an absolute whirlwind of queerness, emotion, campy humor, and skin-crawling horror. IT. WAS. AMAZING!!

There is no way to describe what you should expect from this book. Just buckle up and enjoy the ride. It’s a labyrinth of horror that will have your anxiety up, stomach turning, and jaw dropping from the never-ending twists. Also, my eyes were a continuous fountain of tears from Act 2 onwards—I cried literally right up until the last word.

It was cozy, queer normative, sex positive, sensual, and beautifully representative of disabled and neurodivergent people. This book had my undivided attention for days and I ALWAYS read more than 1 book at a time—that’s a testament to how good it was!

I love when the MC is absolutely unphased by how monstrous a monster is. Zori was like “A ghost just ate my cookie? Dope.” And the fact that it’s never really explained how she’s so okay with this, makes it even better. 🤣

I loved her and Myrkrith’s relationship. It was so intentional and domestic (with a teaspoon of touch-her-and-die and a hint of please-fuck-me 🤣).
