Yes! got it to work (this game is amazing btw) there is one small problem, the game opens you add api key it creates the file, but however when you hit new game it deletes the file as well as you api key so it wont generate anything. I got around it by recreating the file with the text with the api key after I hit create new world.

That worked but it seems like I can only add in the key after you hit continue. is there a way to enter the API key in the main menu so you can generate a new world?

I seem to be doing something wrong, I added in a new api key hit the green O but when i try to start nothing happens and in the error code it has the original old api key I replaced.
