I softlocked myself :P

Game's real great though! I can't tell if aiming your sword at the enemies to kill them (instead of slashing around in circles) was a design choice, but that's what I did!

I made the decision to learn how to gamedev immediately after the YT announcement so I tried to learn how to use Godot to make this (while juggling college finals).  I tried making everything myself, to practice Blender and FL Studio as well. Not knowing how to code and scraping by with YT tutorials was brutal though (dialogue boxes were a special kind of hell lol.)

I dunno if this is anything to be proud of (all the other jam projects look super cool and make me question how efficiently ya'll use your 24 hours per day!) but I made my thing.

Also because I didn't know how gamejams worked I thought you didn't get to rate and play other peoples' games until after the week-long period was already over so uh, whoops!

I LOVE the risk/reward dynamic of spinning! If you do want to get a lot of speed you have to start out far away from a hook, but not too far away because you might not even reach them. Also, you might not even want to get that high speed since it's possible to just miss and fling yourself down.

You can technically go far without even using the speed boost and playing it safe, but boosting up is so much fun to get down right. (My highscore: 2515)

Hamster makes it very serious too. 10/10 no notes.

Cool game! But WOW is everything so hectic.
