Got a happy ending on the first try. I feel very happy and serene. <3
It's so nice to finally play a game that leaves things feeling complete and not just "oh yeah, there you go "happy ending" screen for you, you may leave now." but actually showing what happens after the ending and how things between them continue in a happy settled way. I love that in a game so much!
This game honestly felt less like horror and more like watching two lonely things try to love each other in the worst possible way. you keep wanting to believe 'IT' cares enough for things to work out, even when deep down you already know it never really can, and yet you still end up putting yourself in the same situation again anyway & also felt like 'IT' mirrors how some toxic dynamics work in real life, where insecurities get quietly used as a way to keep you attached, always chasing a kind of love it was never really capable of giving. i think that's what made it hit so hard for me, this game is just so well written and good, i related to it more than i expected and its weirdly comforting to know im not the only one who felt that way.
