Sorry to hear that. Since it works on my machine out of the box, (I have Windows 11), I don't know how I could help you. What operating system are you using?

Hi, I know, it's quite lonely and small multiplayer games are kind of doomed to fail because if nobody plays, nobody wants to start playing. That's why I published it just as a netcode test. Making bots for a shooter who are more than just dumb zombies is quite difficult, and I avoided that specific task for years now. As I can only work on weekends on these projects, I probably won't add bots to this one, but all feedback eventually leads to better games. I wanted to try and make a multiplayer game, but I now think that spicy games have it especially difficult because multiplayer games are best played with friends, and only few people have friends they would play this kind of game with :) So, the next project will be single player again, or maybe async multiplayer, which doesn't require players to be online at the same time.
Are you double-clicking or does your mouse cause multiple clicks? That's the only explanation I have. One click enables dragging, a second click disables it. If the object is not centered, a strong force is applied, which you might experience as fling. If you provide me with more details, I will see if I can fix the issue.
