I always stay a Warden with him, but also I think it might help if you know whether you're going to harden or soften him. I always feel too guilty to make him king when he's softened. And yeah, I can imagine how different Orzammar stuff is when playing as castless, so I'm excited to eventually get around to doing it.

I'm also looking forward to what I'll be doing;;;; I have no idea, but I'll figure it out! Hopefully. And I'm interested in seeing what you end up making!

I don't mind at all! I haven't played them all yet either, but so far I think mage has the coolest origin story, too. I get the feeling though that once I get around to playing through a dwarven commoner that might change. My favorite warden and the one I keep replaying is my human noble, but tbh I'd rank that origin as the most boring compared to the rest.

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

Hi, my name's Alexis. Living in the US and recently graduated college, hoping to be a successful (or at least published) writer sometime in the future but first I have to get through my issue of having too many ideas and not finishing any of them D:

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?
No. I'm joining this jam because I've been meaning to make a game for a while now but have been struggling with sitting down and actually getting beyond the concept stage, so hopefully having a deadline that I didn't set myself will be just the thing to kick me into gear. I also want to eventually get into the game industry, but I have nothing to show for my work and this is probably a good place to figure out if game design is really for me.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?
I really love RPG games, and my all-time favorite is Dragon Age: Origins, but there are a ton of close runner-ups. Really, though, I'll love any game that can make me cry or leave an empty hole in me when I've finished it, and ones that put heavy emphasis on story and characters. I'd say the Dragon Age series and The Witcher 3 (and pretty much any series where even small choices can matter) have inspired me the most due to how much your choices can impact the story or world or how people respond to you.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?
What little experience I have is from messing around with Twine and the Choice of Games' ChoiceScript

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!
Video games! Question 3 was actually hard for me to answer fully because I have so many favorite games and so many games inspire me and if I went into detail on that question then this whole thing would be too long. I'm also really into fantasy because the possibilities of what can exist are endless, and I love all the things that people can do with magic.

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

To finish a game, or at least to get halfway done with one, and to actually just sit down and do it at all.
