Depending on the fiction that you create it may make more sense that you would go back to the first outpost at the trailhead but if you want to challenge yourself you can wait until (and if) you come across an outpost while continuing on the trail. Really enjoyable gameplay loop, I will agree with one of the other comments saying that the $10 off coupon busts it pretty quick. I ended up getting 2 $10 off and a double down which made it pretty easy. Really fun though and would play a ton more.
I played GM-less using a GM emulator (Tiny GM) and thoroughly enjoyed my short little campaign. It was extremely fun coming up with who my dragon was and what their personality was. The idea of being able to hoard *any* treasure was a treat and made for a really cute and funny adventure.
I made a little "head-in-the-clouds" dragon named Cloud who was enamored with weather and collected it, with their favorite treasure being their rainbow.
I absolutely recommend this game to anyone who wants a light-hearted and cute adventure.
