Yes this is definitely the biggest issue design wise. Another possible control scheme for the game could be w and s for retract and expand tongue.

I ended up not going for an egyptian theme, and focusing on the limitation, since the limitation was mandatory, and the theme wasnt. Thanks for saying that it could be a mobile hit! Might try remaking it with mobile gameplay in mind

Feels very floaty. Maybe make the character easier to control, and add more difficulty in the platforming. Nice visuals tho.

Nice art and animations. I feel like the game is missing a concrete direction. What i mean by that is that is isn't obvious what the player needs to do. You don't know whether to go up or down or left or right. And there are many places where it seems like you have to take a leap of faith, which isn't that fun for the player. I think the game needs some extra mechanic, like fx a wall jump or a grappling hook. Or something of the sort that would fit Ra better.

I really loved the aestetic of the game. It didn't feel buggy either. However i think the movement should be different. Acceleration is fine, however i think it should be capped, so it doesnt feel like you lose control. I would also change it so you can jump, both with Space and w, and so you automatically wallslide when pressing against a wall.
