The character and Mimiking look cool! I really like the lighting and main menu effects. For a simple boss fight, it's fun! Bonus points for having a French option, it's super cool to see, and this is the only submission with multiple language options.

The intro dialog had me thinking I was going on a stealth Metal Gear-like mission! The difficulty of the first boss is very hard, and the game only keeps getting harder as it goes on. But I love the music and the story, it's a great game all around!

Despite the fact that most of the assets were created before the game jam, I do appreciate how detailed the background art is. The difficulty is incredibly hard, though.

I like this! It feels like a short-but-sweet fighting game.

I'm not sure if this is a problem only on my end for using FireFox, but every time an attack lands, there is an unbelievably long pause before gameplay resumes as normal.

Regardless, the game is still good! I like the menu graphics and the music is great.

I enjoyed the game! Being able to copy other enemies' abilities makes for fun battles.

I enjoyed this game! The bomb ability is easily my favourite out of all of them

Not bad. I've got the lobby menu working - now all I've gotta do is actually make the game function in multiplayer... And figure out a way to display the usernames of everyone joined. NetCode and Lobby are hard to figure out in Unity, but I'm sure I'll make the deadline.

I'm attempting to make multiplayer in my upcoming Unity game. It's tricky, but I've got 7 days to figure it out...!

The sequel to my previous Unity game, Blue Bird 64, is coming very soon!

A very charming game! I love the artstyle, Wave especially looks really nice. :)

For a one-person team, this game is very good!

Between the Lines

Here's the current state of my Danganronpa-inspired game, Between the Lines!

Featuring programming and writing by me, artwork by ShawSure, and music by River347, our team of 3 is doing amazing work to get this murder mystery game done as fast as possible!

Featuring 7 characters and a riveting story, how will the mystery of an unexpected murder be solved?

(The screenshots shown are of the game's development, and do not represent the final game.)

Best of luck to everyone in the Mystery Game Jam, and see you all May 5th! Between the Lines is nearly finished, and I hope it'll be a fun experience despite how short the game will be.

FANTASTIC game! I especially love the additions in the WeekEnd 1 update :D

Thank you! Public Test Build 2 has been released, and I have hopefully fixed this problem.

I'd like to thank this comment on the game's itch.io page (and the only comment on this game, for that matter)

as without this comment, I wouldn't have known that the game failed to run. Thank you!
