First, thank you so much I'm glad you got both endings! Second, that is a well known bug that we found 10 minutes before submitting D: I'm sorry you had to restart so many times! In our vision we would have liked to make you busier as the days went on,  thank you for your feed back~!

Thank you! :)

This one was really funny. Good job! :)

It definitely Seemed like it was going to be a regular matching game. Well done on the reveal there. The actual gameplay was solid and fun. Good job!

Awesome way to combine "Not what it seems" and "File". Very elegant and creative. Really cool submission!

It's quite simple but it's complete and it works without any issues. Good job! :)

I absolutely ADORE this! The sheer chaos that happens when the tentacle comes down is hilarious! It's super satisfying and fun to control and just funny to watch a giant tentacle try to do an office job. Just fun. I managed to complete all the tasks and was a little sad that there wasn't another level. Great Job!

I made it out!

Also my boy Buckerzerg has done nothing wrong and none of this evidence will be admissible in court.

This game was really fun and challenging. Doing the run over and over discovering a new piece each time...and those eyes...those menacing...terrifying eyes...always watching...coming closer. Good job making such an abomination!

Yeah, this is a horror game, great submission.

I'm a sucker for any wall jumping in games and I felt that this game pulled it off pretty well. I also liked how everything seemed like it was all on one screen with the camera panning to different areas. Unfortunately, like many others here, I was unable to finish the game at the flashing lights part. I don't know what happened but it seemed like my character disappeared. I enjoyed what I did play of this one though. Good job! :)

Simple short and sweet. :) I loved the office design/layout. It felt like a real office that would be a pretty chill place to work. That pumpkin guy was creeping me out lol. Good job!

Now this was really fun! I loved the puzzle challenge mixed with the skill challenge of timing and aiming your jumps while changing the ghost form. Great job!

Cursor Cat is just such a cute idea. The combat in this game is super unique and satisfying to pull off. Great job!

This little file is really cute. I loved how strong the theming is with everything. Even the death messages have the wonderful windows theme. Good job!

I'm happy to see someone go with this interpretation for "File". The controls were different and fun and I especially loved the particles and sound effect when sliding on the ground. Good job!

I loved how the music changed based on what environment you were in. I also thought that the inverted areas were cool too. Combat was a bit difficult to understand so I opted to just do my best to avoid the slimes. I managed to find all 3 files but I couldn't get them all in the same playthrough. Solid game. Good job!

Simple yet very satisfying! Good job!

This was a fun one to mess around with. I especially love the images that fly by in the background. Great detail to make it feel like the internet. Good job!

A simple yet challenging platformer with great art and solid music as well. I do agree with some of the other comment saying that it could be pretty tedious. Specifically some of the platforms moving really slowly makes the punishment for dying pretty brutal. Having to wait 10-15 seconds for a platform to come to me each time I die can get a little frustrating. My only other critique is that it would have been nice to have a little more control over the jump height. On what I'll call "level 2" (being the second from the left), You start near the top of the screen and have to jump on a platform as it moves towards you. I kept overshooting/undershooting because I was forced to jump at max height and couldn't see where I was going.

I probably played for about 30 minutes tried all 4 levels, beat 2 of them, and came extremely close to beating the one on the far right. Overall though, I had a lot of fun playing this game and think that the four of you that worked on this should be very proud of what you made for your first game jam. Great Job!

I had a lot of fun playing this tower defense style game. I loved how you could manage your energy resources where you needed them. Great job!

I think it's really cool you made and English and Spanish version of the game. The active gameplay section felt a little short compared to the story section. I enjoyed the story bits though. Good Job!

Tricky tricky! I spent a good amount of times opening files and being confused, then i found the key for the door then I was like "...Are there some more controls that I don't know about?" I opened up the Options menu and Lo and Behold: My key to freedom. Good job!

This was so cool! What a creative implementation for the theme and special object! While the actual gameplay once you get the game running is pretty simple (just deleting the bad files if I'm correct). The leadup to it has such an amazing charm that felt really satisfying. Great Job!

A solid FPS experience :) Good job!

A wonderful recreation of old school Windows. I especially loved the effects that happen on the screen when stem gets a brain :) Good job!

I love the gameplay premise for this game. The idea of solving puzzles by saving and loading files is definitely a great one. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make much use out of it as I got stuck on level 4 (probably just me being dumb). While my experience with the game was a short one it was also sweet :) Good job! :)

Very visually stimulating. I could see myself wandering this weird little place for a while. I assume I did not find all the files and I could not tell if there was a greater objective other than tossing my new adorable file friends into the recycle bins. I think the music was very fitting and I really felt like I was in the twilight zone. Good job!

Very interesting take on the theme. Soon after the game started I understood how the controls work. The flashing between the simulation and the real world was a little jarring to me. I might be sensitive to that kind of stuff though. I also think the file could have had a bigger importance. Overall I had a very fun time playing it. It felt a little short but very sweet. Great job! :)

I really enjoyed how polished this game felt. I think the use of voice acting is unique. With that being said I did get a little confused after deleting all the files. I really liked how you implemented the object. I think you implemented the theme very well. Great job! :)

I love how you implemented "File" into your game. Very creative and was super cool seeing my actual files on screen. :)

Thank you so much! That means a lot, I'm glad you enjoyed it...bugs and all :)

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm very happy you were able to get two endings. I'll be fixing the bug at some point. Thank you for playing. :)

Thank you for hosting the jam. It was a ton of fun! :) We'll definitely be there for the next one!

Thank you for the feedback :) This was my first attempt at a 3D game to be played in browser, so I am not experienced in optimization yet. I added a downloadable version if you would like to play without any loading or lag issues.

Thank you for the feedback. :) I definitely understand that there are some issues in clearly understanding how and what you can interact with. If/When I update this project I will keep this in mind.

I finally figured out how to get the web player thing to work.

So PSA, It looked like my index.html files wasn't being created because I was selecting my desktop as the folder to zip in. Not sure if that was the real reason but once I switched to an actual folder the index.html file appeared.

After that I realized that I was creating a RAR file and not a Zip file. I later learned that Itch.io only works with Zip files specifically.

Needless to say, I'm new to all of this. This was my first time participating in a game jam and also my first ever game brought to the internet. It was so much fun to participate in and learned so much.

With all that said, if you would like to try out my game without downloading the entire game files. Here is the link.

This is completely unaltered from the original. Though I wish I could change some things. haha.
