It's possible. Just copy the "saves" folder from Android/Data/game_directory (Caribdis/Eternum or something like that) (Android) to %APPDATA%/RenPy/game_directory (Caribdis/Eternum or something like that) (Windows).

I'm probably the guy, i had many problems with the 7.4.X Ren'Py and asked for alternative builds of the games in many discords. Tom (Ren'Py creator) changed how Ren'Py render works in 7.5.X/8.0, now it works like a charm. The latest JoiPlay uses Ren'Py 7.5.X/8.0 (and forces the games to use it too). I really think its worth a try.

Android? Try using JoiPlay (their latest  stable version on Patreon) and the PC version of Eternum.

I'm having this problem too. It's probaby because Caribdis upgraded the Ren'Py. I'm having this problem with other games using newer Ren'Py versions.

I think Ren'py can build a game with an OBB file. OBB files can store large amounts of data. The Play Store limits OBB files to 2GB up to 2 files, but I think you can store more data in an OBB file as you don't plan on launching the game from the Play Store (I guess).

I don't know if you can help me, but... The Version 22.1.0a (Public) crashes on my device before loading the main menu. Is there any known issue? Galaxy Tab A7 Lite 4G T225 Android 11.

Awesome content as always. I loved each pixel, each line of dialog. Just reporting two bugs: Seems like the "return" button in the girls profile its not working (Android build), but the "return" in gallery is working and some animations are playing with sound even with the mute setting activated (Eva lewd scene and login animations).
Looking forward for the 0.3.

Where does Ren'Py store my save games and persistent data?

The Ren'Py engine stores save games and persistent data under a separate folder. It's exact location depends on the host operating system.

Windows:

%APPDATA%/RenPy/game_directory

This is usually:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Application Data\RenPy\game_directory

Where YOURNAME is your username.

Mac OS X:

~/Library/RenPy/game_directory

Linux/Other:

~/.renpy/game_directory

Android (Joiplay)

/Android/data/com.joiplay(something like that)/game_directory

Android (APK) (HH v11 or lower)

/Android/data/com.game_directory

Android 11 needs this file manager to manage content inside /data folder.
