oh ok that was just me being silly then 🙃 (i like that idea btw it also fits the theme in a cool way)

Cool use of the theme! It was a bit challenging to play (the 2nd level was hard) but I love the aesthetics!

I loved the hunger sound effects + the whole fishing vibe. I couldn't really figure out the controls except for the spinning tho :(

executable is being modified to add SFX and stuff rn!

Hey, thanks for your interest. Sadly, this game was developed using pygame-ce and moderngl  in python (not godot or another game engine). Pygame can be ported to the web using pygbag, but moderngl does not have any proper web support (no webassembly builds or pyodide builds), meaning even using OpenGL ES would be very complicated and require interaction with webgl through the python js library. So unfortunately no web version will be uploaded 😔 . However, I have uploaded a demo video so you can see for yourself what the game is like even if you don't want to download it. It's disappointing that game jam games cannot be trusted, but you can always still run it in a virtual machine. If that's not an option (or you just really don't trust us 🙃) you can always checkout the source code (https://github.com/anqelinthestarsxx/The-Revenge-Cycle) to see what's going on and to run it for yourself (very easy - you just need python). I hope that's acceptable for you  - it would be wonderful if you could make an exception to your rule (I get that the game page looks a bit sus I'm working on it during the 24 hr late submission deadline). Good day!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

Cool game!

It does not support Linux or MacOS.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it! (I found out about the farming bug today during play testing but it's a bit too late to do anything about it now I think).
